Incomplete experience. Spend the money on something more polished and complete.
I've had this box for about 3 months now and I can confidently say, do not waste your money on this device.Cons:1) Price. This box, even with the built in tuner, should be below $100 US.2) Built in tuner is decent, but software is extremely lacking and not worth the added expense.3) The packaged remote is not very user friendly without looking at it. I found myself hitting the wrong buttons around the strange circular layout. The built in "mouse" feature is a joke. Hit the mouse button and then use the arrow keys to move the pointer...very, very slowly.4) 3 months in and every single version of Netflix has stopped working. I even installed the Android TV ROM found in the Wetek forums but that version stopped working last week. Wetek support suggests installing the tablet version from their Aptoide store but...no dice.Pros:1) The ability to flash new ROMs from recovery.2) Apps that work: Sling TV, Youtube, Youtube Kids, PBS Kids (the app itself needs work but the issues are consistent across all of my Android devices), Pandora and RetroArch. This box is an utter disappointment. After looking at multiple review sources I decided on this box because it could run Netflix and it had a built in tuner. Now I wouldn't have to buy the HD Homerun for another $100! I also wouldn't have to switch inputs on the TV and receiver! What a waste of time and money. I should have just spent the extra money and bought an nVidia Shield and an HD Homerun like I originally wanted.Upon removing the device from the packaging I was excited. The packaging was good even though the device itself felt a little cheap. I mean, it's an AMLOGIC SOC so I really didn't have super high expectations. Setup was easy and the interface was pretty slick, but I could do without the Android TV-esque "Recommendations". The remote was a little disappointing but I had planned to buy a different one anyway. Installed Netflix and things were good. Setup WeTV with my antenna and immediately there were issues. Major audio/video sync problems. Then a week later- a friggin week! - Netflix stopped working. I started searching the forums and it seemed to be affecting everyone. People were demanding a response from Wetek. And they are certainly not the most genial of chaps when people are complaining. A few days later their "solution" was to install the tablet version instead of the Android TV version. Combined with the included remote it was a frustrating experience. More reading on the forums led me to Ricardo's ROM. This was the saving grace for the box at the time. I've done plenty of flashing through recovery on all of my Android phones over the years so it was an easy process for me. Everything worked so much better for a while, except for live TV. After setting up TvHeadend on the new ROM I was still having audio/video sync issues. Then Wetek drops their 3.2 WeOS update. Live TV works better than Ricardo's ROM but the EPG is worthless. No deleting unused channels. So you're constantly scrolling through 100+ channels to get to the one you want. So either way I never got the full experience I was looking for. Netflix and Live TV in one place. Fast forward to last week and every single version of Netflix I've tried does not work.I'm an avid PC builder and all around tech geek. One the major reasons I wanted a box like this was something I wasn't constantly configuring and fixing to have all the things I wanted in a HTPC. Immediately this thing was a disappointment. I had to go in and configure, tinker, install, reinstall, etc. That's what I get for trying to save some money. It would take a MAJOR update from Wetek to fix all the problems addressed here before I would recommend this box to anyone. As of now avoid this boxUPDATE: 12/9/2017Netflix is working again after following the instructions on the Wetek forums. Uninstall ALL versions of Netflix installed. Go to Play Store settings. Uncheck "Update Apps Automatically" (or whatever the wording is), install version 4.21 of Netflix from Aptoide TV store. Enjoy Netflix again. While Netflix is working again, I honestly still can't recommend this device. It costs almost $150 US. You shouldn't have to do this much tweaking for that price. I don't mind the tinkering and tweaking, honestly. But for the price they're charging I do. Wetek even responded to my review here. Don't waste your breath guys. Fix your product or slash the price. It's ridiculous the amount of hoops to jump through just to get Netflix to work. Live TV still does not work like I want it to. Audio lags the video. Unwatchable. The forums suggest LibreELEC. NO! I want what I paid for. I still do not recommend this device. Get an nVidia Shield for a few extra bucks...hell...get a Xiaomi or a Minix device and save some money. The provided tuner is NOT worth the added expense. To any Wetek employees reading this...give me a fix for all the problems here and I will update my review and give you a recommendation.

Don't buy.
Until the software is updated this is not recommended. The epg doesn't work, scanned channels can't be deleted, reordered or renamed. There is no way to use the built in tuner with Kodi because the back end is missing. The only solution is to boot a different os losing Android functionality. Tutorials and manuals are non-existent or very incomplete.

WeTek Play 2 is good value for the money
Need a degree in Android to get the most out of this box, thank goodness for Youtube, as the instructions are really non-existent. To set this up per Youtube, really need to use a USB Keyboard, or an Air mouse, to input all the URLs, file structures, . The on-screen up/down/left/right select method drove me crazy. As for the ASTC tuner, my TV tuner found more stations than this box, same aerial, same location. Bought EasyviewTV instead, WeTek Play 2 is good value for the money, if you know what you are doing, I didn't.

Surprisingly powerful little thing, but probably won't get Oreo..
I use the Android side for paranoid services like Netflix and it gets 1080p nicely (I don't have a 4k TV). When I want to serve videos on my network I have Kodi (LibreElec) installed on an SD card and it runs great. The PVR functions take time to set up and I have been too lazy to install my attic antenna, so I haven't tried that part out. The hardware / Android support isn't great, so it probably won't get anything past Lolipop and I had to install a custom AndroidTV build from the forums to get the 4k / TV version of Netflix. The Netflix that installs on the vanilla ROM is a tablet version that's hell to use.
