It is ABSOLUTELY matte! I was wanting one that was totally matte also, and couldn't be happier. If first considered the Kat Von D palette, but at $48 it was a bit pricey. This BYS palette is perfect!!

you know, I am not sure. Not having any problems like that, I just don't know. I am at work and cannot look at it on the back of it at the moment

Yes, it has stayed on all day for me
