Mona flying Women's Handcrafted Wingtip Oxfords Brogue Vintage Lace up Leather Shoes for Ladies

I wanted a pair of tan Oxfords, but I'm a little picky when it comes to online shopping. So I bought five pairs of Mona Flying and Mikcon shoes to compare.The two brands are very similar, even packaged similarly. The two pairs of Mikcon shoes that I bought had stiffer leather, and were wider around the middle of the foot than the Mona Flying shoes. Mikcon also rubbed the back of my heel a bit, but that would probably go away with some stretching out/wearing in.The Mona Flying shoes looked slightly more 'dainty' and were narrower, especially with the pointy toe, but overall they felt more comfortable on my foot. The softer leather had more give, and nothing pinched or felt too tight. One of the Mona Flying pairs even had a padded heel, which was a nice touch.Photo 1, from L to R:1. Mona Flying Brown 2 - the color of this one is more yellowish, and the details look especially dainty and feminine compared to the others. The cushion on the back of the heel is a nice touch. Of all the pairs, this is the only one where the upper flaps with the laces still meet each other even when it's being worn. The flaps on the others all spread a little.2. Mona Flying Brown 3 - I kept this pair because it wasn't too stiff or too feminine for me. The color is a bit uneven, and you can see brush strokes where they painted it on. So that's a little disappointing, but not a deal-breaker for me.3. Mona Flying Brown - two-toned shoe, the softest leather of the whole bunch, looks more feminine than the Mikcon two-toned shoe. Less ornate detail, a simpler looking design. Really stylish shoe, I'd have taken it if the leather felt stronger (I'm pretty rough on my shoes). The thinnest part around the ball of the foot moves and wrinkles easily.4. Mikcon Brown-Blue - Mickon shoes have a less pointed toe, and stiffer/thicker leather than the Mona Flying options. Despite having slightly more space inside the shoe, it pinched in a couple spots like the heel so would have needed stretching to fit comfortably.5. The other Mona Flying shoes weren't quite as soft as this pair -- they had more layering -- so this pair is especially soft and comfortable, though I imagine the softer leather would probably wear out sooner. Some reviews noted the smell -- all five of these pairs had a strong smell of leather and chemicals when I took them out of their boxes. It seems to go away quickly.I hope my research helps someone else make a decision!

My shoes arrived in 2 days without expedited shipping. They arrived in an elegant box with each shoe bagged separately in a cloth-like bag. The soles seem a bit soft so we will see how they wear, but as dress shoes, for business, they will be a great addition to my wardrobe. They seem to run narrow as I have a narrow foot and they fit just right for me, which is not typical.I ordered 1/2 size larger than I usually wear because they did not have an 8, and they really don't feel that much too big.

I purchased the tan oxford first then ordered second pair in black. Received lots of complements at office. I wear them with jeans, slacks or capris and looks great. Very pleased with quality and comfort. The leather stretched moderately to my feet.

Shoes 👞 fit comfortably at half size up without being too big. I can wear with or without socks and still have them fit well. They likely would’ve been tight without the 1/2 size up. These are more impressive in person in regards to richness of color (red), leather quality, packaging, and the foot bed which has a bumpy/ripply cushion—super comfy! These will likely be my new favorite.

The ahowa ia beautifully made. I ordered three Mona's from different Amazon sellers. This one unfortunately sells a defective model. See the half circle of leather right in the middle in the front, where the platform holding the laces meets the fromt of the shoe? Right there. That is supposed to be about a third its size. It' is not supposed to be a strange half circle of leather sticking out of the middle of the shoe. If you don't care at all, fine, but I'm returning this pair. Apart from this glitch, the shoe is beautifully stained and finsished.

I am extremely satisfied with these shoes. They were delivered on time. The fit was exact. They didn't need any time to break in. They are one of the most comfortable pair of shoes that I have ever purchased. I have always been shy to buy a pair of shoes on line without trying them on first. I do not have a problem ordering tennis shoes on line but leather shoes I do because normally they need broken in first anyway. I also do not like to give my opinion on a product such as this without breaking them in first. However, these shoes were perfect from day one. The packaging was top of the line with very nice shoe bags and sturdy box. I could not find one flaw in the leather. The heel height was perfect. There are little dimples on the insoles of the shoes that sort of massage the foot when I walk. The laces are very well made. The type of material keeps the laces from becoming untied while I walk. I always liked a cowboy boot type of point on my shoe because I think they look classy with jeans or dress pants. I will definitely purchase another pair of shoes or boots with this company again. You can tell by the packaging, the feel of the leather and craftsmanship that these are a quality product made with pride. Buy the shoes you will love them as I do.

These are some absolutely beautiful shoes. I was skeptical about purchasing shoes from Amazon, but I couldn’t be more pleased. I did order a 1/2 size larger due to feedback from other reviews... and I’m glad I did. That was the best advice otherwise I couldn’t have gotten them on my feet. My shoes were my Christmas gift to me & they’re my best gift this year. 🎁🎄

One of the finer pair of leather shoes that I own. The craftsmanship is beautiful! Don’t get discouraged by the stiffness of the leather because they soften up pretty fast. I sprayed some “shoe stretch” inside the shoes and the second day of wearing them they had already softened up. Now they fit like a glove. I usually wear size 8,5 and sometimes 9. I ordered size 9 and I’m glad I did because they are a bit narrow. My feet do get tired in these after a while because they have no arch support whatsoever. But I still love them! My new favorite shoes..sorry doc’s! ;)
