Rickaroons Coconut Energy Bars (Megaroon) - Vegan, Gluten Free, Organic, Paleo, 1.6 Ounce (12 Count)

Was a Rickaroons fan in the past as they are typically a tasty and good/dense "puck of nutrition" but disappointed to find that they are not very stable as they last no where close to the "best by date" listed on the package. Package seems sealed as no air can get in/out and best by date is still a month out but product inside now has patches of white mold and smells rancid (and yes they were stored by me properly - unknown what happened before they got to me). Unlikely to purchase again as I had to toss most of the box out.

Rickaroons are great - I've been buying them for quite some time now. I should have written a review long ago.There are a lot of energy bars out there, and a lot of people out there with different energy bar preferences. Rickaroons do it for me: a) I love coconut; b) I like the fact that their sweetness is coming from low-glycemic sugars in palm nectar and their energy is coming from plant-based fats in coconut oil; and c) I appreciate the general vegan/organic/gluten-free ingredient profile. But let's face it: all that's well and good, but most importantly, d) they are delicious. Really.I’ve never been a fan of mocha- or mint-flavored anything, so I stick with ‘Chocolate Blondes’ and ‘Megaroons.’ (But if you’re into mint or mocha, I bet the ‘Mocha’ and ‘Mint To Be’ are worth a try). ‘Megaroons’ are my favorite: there's a lot of taste and texture happening in there, with the Chia seeds and Cacao nibs. They're really deserving of a slow chew, savoring the different flavors and textures found within.Enjoy!

Megaroons are super tasty, and the cacao nibs and chia seeds add a nice texture. Because they're compact and individually packaged, they're easy to take to work or on a hike or other adventure.I like that Rickaroons can stand on their own as a light breakfast, workout boost or treat but also be mixed together with other ingredients for something more substantial.I also appreciate how the company is committed to quality ingredients.

My golfing friends and I love this product. They're filling, very flavorful and made with high quality ingredients. One will keep you going when you need a little boost in the middle of a round. I find they're filling and stay with me for quite a while.

These delicious nuggets are chock full of quality ingredients! So tasty, not too sweet, filling. I'm sorta in love with them! Got my step mother who is recovering from breast cancer hooked on them - as her appetite has not been so great. Told her how they were originally created for someone just like her....so she gave them a try.

We like these because of the ingredients but it’s a treat compared to candy or cake because of the „ healthy“ but extreme sweetness! Like the individual packaging to keep some on the go in the bag or car.

These are the best - not too sweet, not too filling, just perfect for a tasty snack to either start or finish your day. And I don't even feel too bad because there's nothing bad for you in them. It's great. Would buy again and WILL buy again when I run out. Which will be soon. Thanks Rickaroons!
