These are high quality, cotton, and well made. They are larger than the picture would have you believe. If you are wearing a sweater with a boat collar, they extend far enough over your shoulders for coverage. Similarly, if you are wearing a V-Neck sweater, it extends far enough down to cover without showing. The material is thick enough to lay flat and not bunch or move.Also, it literally reaches all the way down to my bra and can be tucked in, I am a smaller cup size though, so larger endowed women may not be able to do this. The stitching is very well done, I can stretch, pull and tug at them and there are no loose strings or any damage to the product. I also really like that the turtle neck is long enough to pull up and cover my nose, mouth and earlobes if needed. Overall I highly recommend and will be buying more!

Highly recommend. I severely overpacked, but this dickey was not the issue! Bought the black one for a cruise to Alaska in July. Was comfortable for the plane ride, on the ship and for a wee bit more warmth on excursions; it folds into a teeny bit of fabric, the cotton is soft and looks like you’re wearing a turtle neck when under another layer. Washed up really well in the machine in cold water and keeps it’s shape (only have washed it twice).

I use this for cold-weather bicycling. I like how long it is - I can pull it up to just under my ears. It's also very comfortable. I've used it for about 20 hours of cycling so far so I don't know how well it will hold up over time but it seems well-made for the price point. One weird thing - it doesn't seem to have a front or back orientation. It goes on either way, which is a little more convenient I guess.Update: About a year after getting it, I have worn it many times cycling in cold weather. It's held up extremely well! A bit faded, which is normal, but no tearing or falling apart. It appears very well-made. I am buying another - a great product at a great price.

The red was not even sort of red. It is clearly maroon and does not match the color shown on the page. My camera doesnt do justice to how dark it is so I put a regular red in the image. Quality seems good and it arrived quickly but I needed an actual red one.

Great turtleneck dickey. I live in southern California, wear the weather is usually pleasantly warm during the day, even in winter. The problem is, it can drop drastically in temperature, after dark. Sometimes, a sweater or sweatshirt isn't enough to keep warm. But if you put this collar in your backpack, with your sweater, you have something for around you neck and the combo keeps you nice and toasty. Also it is much lighter to carry, than a bulky scarf.

First of all the white is definitely gray, but you can also tell that from the picture in Amazon which says it is white. I liked the gray one better it was softer and not as thick as the black one. The black one is uncomfortable tight, thick and bulky. The seam is on the side not the back, odd. I think you can find something better but without seeing it ,feeling it and trying it on, what can you do?

I thought I was getting a tighter short/ medium sized turtleneck to put under some sweatshirts, I was so wrong. when it came the turtleneck was so LONG, literally could cover my full FACE!! I had to cut it until it was the size I wanted, and now it’s frayed. I heavily dislike this product and recommend buying form somewhere else. The comfort of this was also terrible, but if you’re going for warmth then this is for you!!! the texture was like sandpaper and cotton.

It was so tight around my neck not enough material. It was well made.

It’s nice, better quality than I expected. Haven’t worn or washed it yet so we’ll see how it lasts after I do
