Zaz Live Tour

A nice recording of a a live concert(s) by Zaz. A must for fans, but I would recommend one of her studio albums to those new to the talent of Zaz.

Zaz Sans Tsu Tsou Live Tour is a great album and DVD. Zaz gypsy blues style is music for the soul. There is nobody quite like her. One of a kind...I believe Zaz is catching on here in the USA. I can't seem to get enough of her music. Love the DVD of her concert. Some of Zaz's music has showed up in a movie here in the states. ( Dead Man Down ). Truly a universal style of music. Give her a try and enjoy..

This girl is really talented. She has this jazz-blues voice style but can sing every style making it she’s own. If you like quality music, not mattering what style but music itself, you won’t regret for a second buying this great great great album.

The album is great, as is usually the case with Zaz. However, beware, the DVD that comes with the CD, although marked "All Regions", is encoded in PAL format, not in NTSC, and thus it will not play in most DVD players sold in the USA. I can only play this DVD in my Mac computer (which I suppose can decode PAL DVDs).

I was introduced to Zaz on YouTube and was mesmerized. She exudes joy in her music!

Her concerts are fantastic and her ability to entertain large filled stadium is outstanding. She will prove to be one of the most successful cultural ambassador for France. WHat a voice, what a talent!

This live CD/DVD combo from ZAZ is excellent. There is so much energy in her voice. She almost reminds me of a young Edith Piaf. I love this CD/DVD and recommends it to anyone.

Review for the CD/DVD “Zaz Live Tour - Sans Tsu Tsou” (on the Play On label: 88697 97614 2)This incredible CD/DVD from Zaz is more than just a recording of a concert – one gets to see and hear, Zaz perform at a number of venues. There are songs on the DVD that start in one location and then continue in another and even change to another or come back again. Now if that sounds like it might not flow along too cleverly, well rest assured – it works brilliantly. The sixteen songs on the CD “mirror” the same song (titles) that make up the first sixteen songs on the DVD, but I think that the CD might not be edited versions of the songs in exactly the same way as the DVD – but basically it seems to be the main body of those songs.The DVD also has documentary footage inbetween some of the songs as well as some other “Extra Features” that follow after what the menu calls “The Concert” but is in reality taken from a number of venues, some of which are indoor/theatre type venues and some are from music festivals.As well as plenty of great music from a band that sounds in top form, something that is very noticeable is the sheer vitality and charisma that Zaz has and her enthusiasm and energy are quite incredible and infectious.Zaz performs all of the songs that are found on her eponymous album together with a further five songs..The CD is approximately one hour and seventeen minutes long, with “The Concert” on the DVD being approximately one hour twentysix minutes long and “The Bonuses” giving about another fourteen minutes.On the Bonuses there’s some very watchabel extras including a wonderful rendition of the Jacques Briel song “Ne Me Quitte Pas” that shows Zaz singing with poet Grand Corps Malade and then with the audience.The first sixteen songs on the CD and on the DVD are:01 “Les Passants”02 “J’Aime A Nouveau”03 “Le long De La route”04 “Prends Garde A Ta Langue”05 “Dans Ma Rue”06 “Port Coton”07 “La Fee”08 “Ma Folie”09 “Trop Sensible”10 “J’Arrive Pas11 “Eblouie Par La Nuit”12 “Je Veux”13 “”Je Saute Partout”14 “Pray the Sunshine”15 “Ni Oui Ni Non”16 “Aux Detenteurs”Then on the DVD the Extras are:“La Cuica Family”“Tsu Tsou A New York”“Le Cri D’Animooooooool”“Zap Tsou”The CD and DVD come in a conventional plastic case that also comes with a sixteen-page booklet containing some great photographs as well as song credits.

Zaz bringt sehr viel Leben auf die Bühne. Anders als manch andere Künstler spielt sie nicht einfach ihre Platte runter. Da ist so viel Herzblut und Energie drin, dass man sogar in der Aufnahme geradezu spürt, wie das Publikum mitgeht.

Das Album von ZAZ war schon ein Knaller, die Live-Scheibe legt noch einen drauf. Unglaubliche Energie, Temperament und viel Gefühl. ZAZ zeigt, dass sie keine Eintagsfliege sein will und mit Sicherheit ist von dieser Künstlerin noch mehr zu erwarten. Die Musiker ihrer Band sind absloute Profis, das Zusammenspiel zwischen ihnen und der Sängerin eine Sensation. Ein lohnenswerter Kauf, die Live Versionen der Stücke des Debutalbums unterscheiden sich oftmals deutlich von der Albumversion und sind allein schon deshalb hörenswert. Viel Spass!

dopo aver sentito "eblouie par la nuit" nel film "dead man down" ho dovuto ascoltare ZAZ, che ha una gran voce e dei bei testi.Mi piacciono i live ed il rapporto qualità prezzo è decisamente ottimo! che dire? a chi piace il francese è un bell'album, soprattutto per chi lo parla, come me, troppo poco ma lo capisce e si immerge nella musicalità transalpina!
