as advertised. I bought these to replace older type with a tab system to keep pole in place. Those tab models have failed multiple times and both myself and my buddy have taken falls in the boat. We've used these a few times so far and no problems, no falls, no poles popping out of base. Seems to work well so far. Will update if needed. Mine are mounted on a bass boat type that is stored indoors or tarped in the winter so I'm not worried about finish/discoloration.

I fell against my boat table and knocked it loose by pulling/stripping the screws from the deck. This flange was a drop in and had a larger screw pattern - so all I had to do to make the repair was shoot the OEM screws into this new flange and assemble the table post and top - :-)

This stand replaced one that was installed by the previous owner. It was exactly as it was described.

It was a direct rreplacement for one where the pedestal post froze in the plastic base receiver. If you don't keep them cleaned out pretty regular the pedestal posts get stuck and it is a problem getting them out. I have not had the boat that long to give a longevity report, but I guess they work well enough.
