Good motorcycle camping tent but not the best
I bought this for motorcycle camping as I had hoped to get a durable tent with a smaller pack size than my Eureka 2XT. Unfortunately, despite the aluminum poles, the pack size and weight is not substantially different from the 2XT. This probably shouldn't come as a surprise since both tents are very similar in size and construction. Still fits in a motorcycle top box or tail pack just fine and will be more durable than ultralight backpacking tents. The floored vestibule on each side is nice, and there is enough room inside for my 6'5" body, but of course not as much maneuvering space as the 2XT. My recommendation would be to go for the 2XT instead, as this design has few advantages and gives up the extra interior space. Incidentally, my 2XT has seen years of use with a footprint and is still holding up in excellent condition. I'd expect the same from this tent.Better than expected ventilation, with the fly zipped shut and only a small portion of the door screen open (one high, one low), there was no condensation inside in several nights of camping in the damp coastal redwoods of California. If you are camping somewhere windy and dusty, it's nice to be able to zip the doors fully shut to keep silt out of the interior, though you will not be getting any ventilation that way. The aluminum poles are of good quality as is the overall construction. Stakes are L-shaped steel and appear to be very durable though they do add a bit of weight, but then again, this isn't a backpacking design. Door zippers especially work with no hassle the first time, every time, and the tent has stash pockets inside to stuff the open doors into, no need to roll up to use a tie back. Very handy. The fly still uses a normal tie back which is fine. Comes with guy lines and extra stakes for windy conditions.

GREAT TENT
Great Tent for one person! I have taken it backpacking, not the lightest but it worked out well. worked great in rain and cold and wind. the two door feature w/ vestibules works great keeping gear separated.Eureka- worth the money!

High Quality
I ordered this to be my first real backpacking/camping tent based on the reviews I read. I only just received it last week but after staying out for one cool, rainy night and waking up to a dew covered morning I can say that so far it hasn't disappointed. The material is very thin and lightweight for how sturdy it is and all the stitching and stake loops are very high quality. As for the dew, the fly held on to all of it leaving me dry and well ventilated inside until I knocked my head on it on my way out. Ventilation is amazing and the vestibule floors definitely come in handy. As far as the questions everyone has for size, I am 6 ft tall and about 170 lbs so just a bit above average height and average build and I could fit another, smaller, person in it, close but comfy. very nice tent that I recommend and I will try to remember to update this when I actually get out in the woods with it.UPDATE:After returning from my most recent outing I am still satisfied. the vestibules are great for dirty gear and it holds any condensation outside of the main compartment.

This is my most favorite item I havenpurchased in 2015 from amazon
This is my most favorite item I havenpurchased in 2015 from amazon. It is light enough to carry backpacking, and strong enough to keep mother nature at bay. Make a custom ground cloth that is exactly the size of the floor plan including the vestibules, and you will be set.UPDATE: okay it's been a few years since I've had this tent I've been on approximately seven outings. When I go backpacking I usually never travel further than 5 miles so the wait hasn't really become a problem I do not recommend this tent for super long tracks if you want to carry light-weight packs. All the zippers have held up none of the material has separated I've never woke up with water inside the tent. I'm really proud of this tent . I get lots of compliments from other campers and hikers who see it I can keep my accessory equipment dry. I usually carry some sort of digital equipment such as cameras and associated digital camera equipment like having a space out of the weather where I can access this equipment I could not do this using a hammock. I'm able to sleep in the tent with my backpack in the tent with me and my shoes in one of the vestibules out of the weather. I contemplated purchasing a lighter tint but decided against it. If I need to save weight I need to look into either a lighter sleeping bag or consolidate my equipment more.

Good tent but it does have a solvable problem.
This is a nice first tent. I bought it at it's regular price. It has all features I was looking for in a bug out tent. The 4 star rating resulted from the way the vestibule floor collected water. The first three times I used the tent it rained. The fly tends to sag on the two sides of each vestibule panel. It allowed rain to drip on to the vestibule floor. In the morning I awoke to find a swimming pool on each side of the zipper door (a feature I didn't know was included). The non-vestibule side has a way to pull the fly away from the tent which can be seen on the picture. I purchased tarp clips and low profile stakes to remedy the problem.

This is a great little 1 man tent
This is a great little 1 man tent. There are a lot of video reviews on You%#be so check them out. The specs say this is a three season tent, and I tend to believe that. It weighs about 4.5 pounds, so it is light for a tent, the poles, stakes, and fly that goes over the outside of the tent.
