The old inserts kept damaging the seals and causing them to leak. New ones dropped right in and stoped the leak. It no longer takes a wrench to shut the water off.

Used these for a DIY repair on an old T&S faucet. One can spend a lot of money replacing entire faucets, so it's nice to know that you can still buy components from T&S. I've never had a problem with them and this is no exception. These solved our particular problem without having to pay a plumber $125 just to show up + who knows what in extra labor and their own parts mark-up. Took 20 minutes start to finish.

I have a T&S faucet in our kitchen. About one year after it was installed, it started to leak. I bought the valve parts kit, and it fixed the leak for about one year, and then started to leak again. I then replaced the valves a second time, and again the faucet worked well for about one year and then started to leak again. Since I don't want to spend $150 or $200 to change the entire faucet, I now have to buy the valve parts kit a third time. Clearly, the design of these valves is defective. I even called the company to complain, and was told a bunch of mumbo-jumbo about avoiding overheated water (our water temp is 122; clearly not excessively hot). I'd suggest avoiding any T&S faucet containing this valve if you want to avoid yearly valve change-outs!
