This microphone I received from Moonraker is an unbranded version of the B01. Initial thoughts were ok build quality, nice size in the hand similar to a Yaesu MH-31 and two programmable buttons in addition to the PTT, volume and power buttons. A USB charging cable and battery are included in the box. First charge time was about 90 mins and the USB charging capability would be good if you were going to use this with a computer. However, that is where the good times stop rolling as actually getting this thing to work is a mission. I tested the B01 with five Bluetooth enabled radios, three Bluetooth enabled computers and three smartphones with the following results:Inrico T320 - Connected eventually and initially worked with Zello, did not work with Teamspeak, did not work with Peanut, did not work with the phone app. After rebooting the T320 the B01 would not connect and had to be removed and paired each time the T320 was turned off. Programmable buttons could not be configured, even when using the Button Mapper App. T320 runs a version of Android 7.Inrico TM-7 Plus MK2 (latest round mic version) - Connected but not recognised with Zello, Teamspeak or Peanut as a microphone, functioned as a Bluetooth speaker while using Zello. None of the buttons, including the PTT were useable or mappable with Button Mapper. TM-7 runs a version of Android 7.Kenwood TH-D74 - Did not connect, not recognised by the Kenwood at all so no further testing possible.Yaesu FT3D - Did not connect, was recognised by the Yaesu as a device in the available devices list but no successful paring so no further testing possible.Anytone 878 Plus - Did connect and was recognised by the Anytone as a device but not able to get the two to work together successfully. PTT not recognised and only the speaker function worked periodically when in analogue mode, did not work at all in DMR mode.Samsung Galaxy S9+ - Recognised as a Bluetooth device, connected and functioned as a Bluetooth microphone using Zello, Bluetooth speaker would not work so audio continued to come from the phone. Did not work with Teamspeak, Peanut or the phone app at all. Would play audio using Amazon music app if the B01 was removed and paired again but this stopped working as soon as Zello was used. Neither of the programmable buttons were recognised by the apps or Button Mapper. S9+ was running Android Version 10.Samsung Galaxy S20+ - Recognised as a Bluetooth device after about six pairing attempts, connected and functioned as a Bluetooth microphone using Zello, Bluetooth speaker would work but not every time so audio would often come from the phone. Did not work with Teamspeak, Peanut or the phone app at all. Would play audio using Amazon music app if the B01 was removed and paired again but for some reason the audio quality was terrible this also stopped working as soon as Zello was used. None of the programmable buttons, including the PTT ever worked. Samsung S20+ is running Android 11.Apple iPhone 11 Pro Max – I am not an Apple person; this device was borrowed for testing purposes so there was a limited amount I was willing to do with someone else’s device. B01 paired with the iPhone after several attempts. Tested with Zello, Teamspeak and what ever the face thing is called on IOS. Microphone worked on Zello, nothing else worked including the PPT and programmable buttons on Zello, Teamspeak or Facechat. Not sure what the IOS version was as I forgot to check before returning the device.AMD Ryzen based desktop with X470 Gigabyte Aorus Motherboard. Desktop has built in Bluetooth 4.0 chipset - Seen as a Bluetooth speaker OR Bluetooth microphone but not both. Device type would depend on what it felt like at each reboot and this would need to be reconfigured each time the device type changed. Tested with Teamspeak and would function as a Bluetooth microphone but not when the OS saw this as a just a speaker (obviously). Tested with Skype, Zoom and Teams with varying levels of inoperability, poor audio quality and random noises when in conference calls. PTT button never worked and there was no way to configure any of the other buttons. AMD desktop is running Windows 10 Pro.Dell Latitude 5400 - Much the same results as the desktop with the addition of Bluetooth range appeared to be about 2m away from the laptop before communication was lost altogether. Other Bluetooth devices work fine at ranges from 1 - 10m away from the same laptop although the distance problem was only evident when using the Dell and the B01 together. Laptop is also running Windows 10 Pro.Raspberry Pi 3B+ - Initially everything went surprisingly well considering the heartache I had with the previous test devices. Pi paired with the B01 and presented both speaker and microphone device types. PTT did not work I did not even try with the programmable buttons. Running a Chromium based Zoom meeting the microphone worked but the speaker did not, tried several different pairing procedures and configurations to no avail. My reported audio quality was 'harsh' with only upper frequencies present and no mid or bass tones which was new. During the Pi testing, that took a couple of days, the B01 just stopped connecting to the Pi altogether. No amount of removing, pairing, charging, sneaking up on it or reimaging the SD card would get it to work. I tried again on the Inrico T320 but still nothing worked. The B01 had blued its last tooth and was dead.
