The hinges broke on one side, after a day of use. Lacking hinges on one side, put to much weight on the other side, which broke as well. I didn't expect much due to the price point, but honestly, it should last more than a day. I believe the problem is the top is to heavy for the hinges. It is possible we got a bad unit, either way, ours broken.The wood is pressed wood (again the price point is cheap, so I am not surprised, and I'm not complaining about that), meaning the small screws once torn out, are impossible to put back in. What I mean, is that I could screw them back into the correct spots but the screws won't grab since the wood is crumbly due to it be pressed wood. Either way, I thought I would pass along the info.

The box itself if gorgeous and solid. The only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 star is because the inserts, hooks, and basically the entire inside is very cheap. My ring rolls are dented and flimsy and the "velvet" is pulling away from the sides. The necklace pouch is also very cheaply done and pulling away as well.It wasnt very expensive and I am crafty enough I can fix it and make it work.For the price I guess I shouldnt have expected much more...It did arrive very quickly though!

I'm so bummed after getting this box, the quality is terrible. I've been looking for a cute jewelry box for quite some time now, and was so excited to get this. It's chipped and scuffed in multiple places, and the interior is well..crap. I know I shouldn't expect amazing quality for the price I paid, but come on..really? It's just plain sloppy. It was so cute..online. Wish I didnt have to return it.

Wow, great jewelry box. I compared several different ones before deciding on this one. It was by far the best looking and the price was fantastic. It holds a lot of different size pieces of jewelry. The top has a nice mirror which adds to the attractiveness.

Bought this as a gift and my mom loves it.I was shocked when I received it on how beautiful it looked! Well made and designed! Well worth the money! Will purchase again.

Just what I was looking for. I have a new black dresser, and I wanted a white jewelry box to set it off. I didnt want the outside to be "blah"...and the top had plenty of movement to make it have "class"

So bought this for my young teen niece who just got her ears pierced and had gotten all these earrings for her birthday thinking how great it would be for her. She loves it, however, first time she opened it, the screws all came out on the top and it kinda feel apart. Screws are very tiny, so we lost them, had to go to home depot to find some that fit to put it back together for her. Holding up great now, maybe we just got a faulty one. Hoping she will use it for years to come.
