Great Kazoo! Love the classic look! Not the easiest to use. Keep in mind it will not create sound if someone just blows air into it like the cheaper plastic party ones. When we opened it I coached the kids on how to use the hum on their voice w/ air to help create the kazoo sound! They got it right away (ages 4 and 8). Knowing this from reading previous reviews made a world of difference. Very pleased! I also love that it is durable and not plastic!

The sound is not the quality it should be. The membrane that makes the buzzing sound must not be good quality. It sounds more like I am just humming. Pretty disappointed for the money spent on them.

Good quality and kids are living playing with them....Mom's ears, maybe not so much! Lol

I didn't like that the paint came off easily in my kid's mouth - would avoid giving this to kids who are young enough to be inclined to gnaw on it.

We ordered these as a birthday gift for our son who has loved playing an old one his brother has. We were so disappointed to open these and not have either of them work. The membrane in them is cheap and thin. Basically saran wrap. One of them blew out of the kazoo when I tried playing it.Our old kazoo is the same brand and has a thicker membrane. It has stood up to the abuses of a toddler for multiple years now. I have no idea why these ones seem to be of much cheaper quality, but they are.

They're the best looking kazoos but suck at the kazoo part. Poor volume and vibration.

Disappointed. Unless you have the lung capacity of an elephant you're basically going to sound like you're just humming into a toilet paper tube. Don't buy.
