I really wanted to love these, but they're just ok. Cheaply made, they'll leak or fall apart within a couple years (both of mine have now had the top half's metal completely separate from the plastic interior). Decent value I guess, I just hate generating waste and would have rather bought something that would have lasted. Worth the low price, but that's about it.

I've needed to replace my cruet for eons but have been avoiding it. A client gifted me one a few years ago (I'm a former personal chef) and, although the plastic insert had ripped so that I had to hold it in place while drizzling, I couldn't bring myself to get a new one. I was looking for one that looked just like the last one but couldn't find anything. These couldn't look more different but I decided to give them a try. They arrived packaged well, and the card with the photo of the mother and son who run the business was really sweet. It gave me all the feels knowing I was supporting their business, and I got the impression they take pride in what they do and truly care about their customers. I had no reason to call on them, however, as the bottles are AMAZING. I used them for the first time last night and I love how easily and consistently it drizzles out. My older one came out much faster, making it more difficult to add just the right amount. These even have a cover for the spout. I can't say how they are to clean at this point, but even if it's not as simple as I think it will be, it will be worth it. Highly recommend!

Update. The seller sent me a new set as a replacement. I thought that was extremely nice of them to do so and unexpected. Seems the style I ordered had some issues with leaking. They informed me the new style should help with that issue. It is a new style that looks just as beautiful as the one I owned. Fingers crossed it won’t leak. Thank you for the great customer service. Five stars for that.Previous review: The bottles look incredible, my issue is it leaks. in the beginning I thought they kids were letting the liquids leak when they used it because my counters were always dirty on the spot I kept them, then I put a small towel underneath it and that's really dirty from all the leaking and having something underneath defeats the purpose I having a nice clean look on the counter. Looks great but leaks, look for something better like I'm doing.

First, let me say that Chefvantage customer support is really great!! Keep up the service. I had an issue with one of my Cruet leaking oil from the body of the cruet and the customer service was very prompt and sent me a new one which is without any leaks! Only thing I would like to see in this design is a hole or vent to collect the drop of oil which drips from the Cruet tip into it. The current hole at the tip is too small for that oil drop to go in. The only purpose for the small hole at the top is for air. If that design change is done, it would be great!

This is a really nice looking product, very sleek. Easy to tell when it needs to be refilled with the glass visible up the sides and on the bottom. Easy to fill with the wide mouthed opening you encounter after you unscrew the unit in the middle (you can see the black line in the pictures where the opening is). The only thing that is tricky is the top black part is a lid/top that comes off for you to be able to pour...the lid is small so easy to lose in a busy environment but for my needs we have to have a lid to ensure that nothing falls into it when unmonitored. We have lost some of them and had to replace it with a whole new set...would prefer the top to be hinged somehow?

UPDATE on review: ChefAdvantage has sent replacement seals to hopefully solve problem of them leaking.They seem to be thicker this time. Thank you!ORIGINAL REVIEW: Very nice looking product but leaks. Olive oil is always on the outside leaks down behind the stainless steel outing. My balsamic always pools at the base of the bottle. Makes a mess of my counter. Wanted to like the product but got tired of being very careful with how I poured.

Purchased this set to make life easier. We wanted something that did not leak. looks good, well made, has substance to it; however, we do not like the way it pours out, and that it does. If you are not careful half of the bottle would be gone in no time, too bad there was not a way to control the flow.Other than that it would have received a higher rating.Anthony. H.Burlington. MA
