60 Amp Brake Switch for 3 Phase AC Wind Turbine Generator

The brake worked but, I was helping a family of six who are struggling. The family cannot afford propane. So myself and others are helping this family. We are setting up solar and wind for heat. It is single digits in Michigan. Very cold. We ordered the flange piece (along with this brake) for mounting the wind turbine. After a week with no shipping or communication, I contacted Cutting Edge, (told them the situation at the time I ordered the item to ship asap)and they said it might ship out in a couple MORE days! Then out of the blue, Cutting Edge cancelled my order and refunded me. All because I questioned when my PAID FOR ITEM would be shipped. So this is the company your dealing with.

It works but it is hard to get all wire connections in the box.

I bought a switch similar to this that came without instructions for wiring so I didn't want to risk wiring it wrong. So- I bought this because it said that it was pre-wired to work as a wind generator control, and it was, and it works; so thumbs up.

A good product

This device is 6 breakers connected in series/parallel all jammed into a PVC enclosure too small for you to even consider connecting wires from the wind turbines and then to your charge controller.The manufacturer should of thought about what is the purpose of this device before putting it together. If you do buy it, you will have to modify or replace the enclosure.

Easy to install works great for maintenance of wind turbine.
