VERY well worth the investment!!!
This is a very nice suture kit! It comes with pretty much all you need to practice suturing and knot tying. The material of the pad feels solid, and it is quite easy to remove stitches and start over if you run out of space. It is definitely much nicer to use than practicing on chicken! If you’re a medical student, especially if you’re a beginner, or want to practice regularly, it is well worth the investment. I highly recommend it! 🤩🙌🏼👍🏼

Ok value for money
Serves the purpose but not realistic at all. Good to practice basic suturing skills but as a third year medical student, I found the suture pad to be basically useless. It didn’t simulate real skin at all. Durable and served the purpose of learning how to tie knots but didn’t simulate difference between grabbing dermis versus epidermis very well at all. While I don’t regret buying it, I do caution people using this and then trying to suture human skin since you’ll probably tear human skin apart. Real skin is a bit more fragile but also a lot more pliable than this suture pad so it’s not realistic at all but nevertheless if your concern is just tying knots, practicing different types of suture techniques then it serves the purpose just fine.

High Quality Kit
I got this suture practice kit as a gift for my niece who is a nursing student. The kit came with all the contents as described. The suture pad is very realistic - soft and squishy like real skin! It is also thick with a white backboard and it has different types of wound cuts, so it would be great to practice different sutures techniques. Totally recommend this buy as it is heavy duty and really good quality!

Adaptable for young students also!
Ordered this for my 12 year old daughter who is very interested in pursuing a medical career. I took away the scalpel blades of course but she loves practicing so much with this kit! She has viewed videos on the different types of sutures. My only complaint is that it seems to be very delicate, more than human skin would be, but other than that no complaints!

Great product
Awesome product. My 14 year old has aspirations of being an orthopedic surgeon. This was a great item for her to practice a few things she has seen online. Invested in the book as well which teaches different suturing techniques.
