Our cat Sir sully plays with this mouse for hours he loves it, it is a great toy for an indoor cat to keep fit.

So you maybe wondering why I gave this 4 stars considering my title. Well I’ve recently adopted an 18yr old cat. Despite her age she does love a good play and chase and even wakes me up early meowing asking to play! 🤦🏽‍♀️ So I wanted something that would keep her occupied a little bit longer than her regular static toys. She’s an indoor cat so she still needs lots of stimulation or she does lots of zoomies out of frustration! I read the reviews to see if worked on carpets and a lot said it did so I went ahead and bought it. Suffice to say it doesn’t work on carpets despite my carpets not being thick and fairly flat. If you’ve got an old carpet that’s been worn down over the years with wear and tear then this may work, or a very flat carpet like the dark grey stuff they have in offices. Thankfully I have hard flooring in the kitchen and utility room and bathroom. She was really intrigued at first and it didn’t take long for her to get into stalking mode and doing her little bum wiggle. What I love about this is that it moves on it own. So once the cat sees it moving, the cat paws at it, then that causes it to move again, so it’s never ending fun! It has a very faint squeak too which adds the the fun. It comes with a fitted battery and a spare battery. It’s a good job it comes with a spare battery as although she doesn’t play with it constantly every day, the mouse has started to slow down, which means the battery is starting to wear out already (either that or it’s sick of being chased and has given up on life) but my cat loves it so it’s a good job I have some hard floors or I’d have to return it!

PROS: The mouse is pretty entertaining for my cat, and he likes chasing it. I like how after it runs ahead for a short distance, it turns around on its own, which is useful for when it's close to walls. I also like that it came with two batteries, that's great. The wheels make a nice noise and you can hear kitty playing with it, super cute.CONS: It's not quite as sensitive to touch as the Amazon listing says. It takes more than a mere push of the paw for it to move - you need to draw the mouse back a little so that it'll roll ahead, like one of those toy cars. My cat finds it easier to pick it up with his mouth and set it down somewhere else so that it'll run ahead.It doesn't work on carpets, so that rules out most rooms in the house, leaving him only the hallway and kitchen in which to play with it. Also, sometimes when the mouse hits a wall hard it overturns, and my cat hasn't figured out how to flip it back the right side up.

I bought this a day ago on amazon. The cats absolutely love it. At this rate I might have to buy another as they all want to play with it.Rechargeable also. Very happy cats

Bought as a gift for kitten, although kitten was interested in it when it did move on the floor, this quickly wore off when the mouse was inconsistent at doing anything. We were disappointed in the quality and didn't think it was worth the money. Found that the mouse didn't move consistently even when the kitten touched it and although on a hard floor didn't move as much as we thought it would so that it would be chased.

I purchased two of these mice, one for each cat, but after turning them on and placing them on the wooden floor, they only ran for a moment. My cat's just watched with disinterest apart from one just batting one on the floor. The mouse just stayed there where it was. There was no sound from either of them too so that is why I rate these with a one. They weren't cheap either given the price of cat toys recently.

Overall great cat toy, I like that it makes sounds and moves around randomly. A bit too big for my cat though. She’s an older cat so wanted something to keep her active. She showed some interest but decided not to approach in the end. Likely due to its size I believe, as she used to hunt smaller mice back in her old days! Probably better for larger cats or the ones interested in catching larger prey.

Macht von der Qualität keinen schlechten Eindruck auch wenn es etwas laut ist wenn due Naus über die Fliesen rennt aber unsere Katze macht sich nix daraus.

Dit is een handig speeltje omdat het vanzelf gaat maar het is jammer dat het iedere keer veel te snel stopt. Ook het gepiep is nauwelijks te horen.
