Excellent! Mower runs like new. I need 2 of these, so will happily order another. Before ordering, I suggest you see if you have 3 connections or two. I got a pair that was the same part number elsewhere that only have 2 wires. THIS is the correct module! I wish they would offer a 2 pack. Will for sure get another!

Worked great on my Craftsman mower, original style, without having to do any modifications unlike the updated "kits" that are the alternative. Swapped out and running in less than 15 minutes.

Spark plug snap-on fitting not properly crimped to plug wire. It came off at the first attempt to remove boot from spark plug. I had to slit the boot to get the metal fitting back onto the spark plug wire, then crimp the metal fitting to the wire. Then electrical tape to reseal the boot. The unit works properly and solved my issues with heat related rough running and stalling. (And, yes, dielectric grease was applied to the inside of the new boot and to the ceramic insulator on the spark plug prior to the first use of the spark plug wire.)

Bit pricey but it does work for my craftsman dys4500 rider with a 54" deck.

A little more expensive, but the generic version did not work. Should have bought this first.

Replaced the DSAI ignition system which was causing very, very difficult starting on Kohler CV16S engine. Runs great.

THIS REPLACES THE OLD SYSTEM WHERE THE SPARK ADVANCE IS SEPARATE FROM THE COIL! (black box with 5ish wires coming out the back of it that hooks into the coil) It took me ages to figure out why all the coils look different than my old one. I hope this helps someone else find what they are looking for!
