Great stirrer for the price, was going to build my own but realized that prebuilt would better suit my needs. Has some rough edges but overall very sturdy., One magnetic stir bar. If you need a magnetic stirrer then this would be your best value.

hey if you dont need to go above 200 degrees F and your working inside with a warm room temperature this unit is suffitient for my us and the magnet stir works excellent, however if you want ore ease and performqnce i would opt for their digital modle or i would have gotten the digital if i would jhave known the temperature control has no settings and varies alot due to ambient air temp. but its best point is price for a good functioning product. thanks

Seems to be nice unit but I thought the base would rotate otherwise why would you attach a stir stick to the arm? Picture is misleading. I haven’t used it because it will not work for what I need.

Pretty handy but there is no temperature regulation in cuz I'm onto at least boiling

Very good quality for the price

This magnetic stirrer functions as a good stir plate. It meets my purpose for mixing home brew yeast starter. Where it falls short is heating. It is very slow to raise temperatures. After 30 minutes it heated water from 78°F to 123°F. The heating element is on/off with no modulation adjustment. A couple of additional shortcomings are the vertical post is too short for a 8.5” tall 1000ml Erlenmyer flask and the instructions are useless.
