Many of these remote control sockets come with controlers with 6-8 buttons, no idea why when all you need is 1. This socket has a light pluged into it at the bottom of the garden in the studio approx 40 meters away. Now the customer can turn the light on and off from the back door of the house.

Has only been used sparingly for four months and has now failed. Just another load pf chinese rubbish although not cheap when compared with similar battery operated switches!

Firstly the product works in that it switches the waste disposal unit on and off and no batteries are required for the handset. However there are issues which the supplier should address. The Instructions, which are written in chinglish, describe the American and not the British version of the product. It also states that the maximum load is 1200 watts 10 amp whereas the web site advertises it as 3000 watts 15 amp. This discrepancy is too wide. Lastly a British 13amp plug does not fit fully into the device socket but leaves about 5mm of the pins exposed. I suspect this would not comply with electrical standards.

Really thought this was a good product, but it stopped working, so needs to be returned. Still waiting for Hermes to collect.

plug does not go all the way into it 2 to 3mm left exposed.It does work fine but this seems dangerous.

I use a lot of smart plugs around my house for lamps, lights, & for heating & lighting on my animal tanks & they're excellent. I bought this because I needed something that worked remotely but without having to use a phone so that it was easy for my Grandma to use.My landing is a funny shape & the light switch is the opposite end to the bedroom my Gran stays in so it can be a bit dangerous for her to find the bathroom as she has to go near the stairs. I've got a lamp plugged into this & the little presser adhered to the wall outside the bedroom. It's simple enough that she can use it like a light switch when she steps onto the landing. It's a very handy little device. Photo to show the size of the presser before I stuck it in place. It's even easy enough for her arthritic hands so works great. I've had this in place since around mid Sept now & still spot on so definitely considering some for her house too 🥰
