Brand new at works great!
I had to shop on amazon.com although I reside in Canada as difficult to find this breaker in Canada. Breaker arrived super fast for international delivery and inspected and installed today. Brand new top quality. Very happy with purchase. Highly recommend.

First one failed
The first one of these 2-pole 60A Eaton GFCI breakers that I bought from a local home improvement store came packaged inside an electrical box that was perfect for my needs (hot tub). Although the GFCI circuit worked during a test, after connection to supply power, the breaker itself quietly failed the minute put it under load. Strangely, it failed OPEN even though the switches stayed in the CLOSED position (but with no power getting through). Cycling the switches did not help; they seemed to operate but no power came through that breaker ever again. The GFCI circuit never worked again after that. The local store did not sell a replacement breaker (by itself) and I had the box already installed, so I had to buy a replacement breaker online. The new one arrived from Amazon the next day and went in an worked without a hitch. No clue what happened to the first one but it went straight into the trash. Maybe I could have gotten something out of the the store, but life it too short.

Holes too small.
This gfci breaker is replacing another 60 amp standard breaker that fed power to our boat dock. Sometimes it floods here and the secondary load panel near the dock goes underwater. I thought a gfci breaker would be the smart solution. I want it to trip if water is sensed in the secondary load panel. However this breaker has smaller holes for the cable to screw into. I doubt I can use this. I don’t think the cables in my main panel will fit into the breaker.

Worked great.
This was used for my quick disconnect for my hot tub. The only thing is that theses kind of items don’t need to be that expensive.
