Tackedoo Kids Scooter - Pink - For up to 5 years / Max weight: 44 pounds (20kg)

The media could not be loaded.          Got this for my 2 year old daughter. After a bit of research, with so many choices of scooters out there, I was concerned about the quality of the Tackedoo scooter compared to the competition, but I was so happy to see the high quality of the scooter as soon as I received it. The pink scooter is exactly as pictured on Amazon, with large black polyurethane wheels, shiny steel t-bar, and a very soft comfortable pink rubber grip. The t-bar height is not adjustable. The remainder of the scooter is all plastic, but it appears to be high-quality, making for a comfortable and smooth ride. I love that the scooter has 3 wheels and is able to stand upright on its own. The scooter arrived in 2 parts, but all that was necessary for assembly was to connect the t-bar to the base by snapping it into place. There is a button on the t-bar to release it, making it a breeze to disassemble the scooter if you needed to. I tried using the scooter (I'm about 100 pounds), although it is rated for 40 pounds max, I was able to use it and it went pretty fast, but could feel the suspension straining a bit under my weight. I think this scooter will last for many years and my daughter will outgrow the scooter in height before she reaches the pounds rating. She is still mastering how to turn the scooter after using it for a few times, but I think she will get the hang of it soon. I am so happy I bought this one rather than something else!Update 7/17/2015 - After using this for a few weeks, one of the screws in the front of the scooter came off and my daughter tumbled to the ground. Fortunately, she was not going too fast and had her helmet on. I was able to find the screw and put the scooter back together. My daughter takes this scooter to the playground almost everyday, so maybe it became loose over time. I still love the scooter, but everyone should make sure to check the screws are tight. I will now check the screws occasionally to make sure it does not happen again.

Broke and fell apart within a few months. My daughter is 5 and doesn't play too hard on it, and keeps it inside almost exclusively.Rear brake broke off, plastic housing for front wheels cracked, and overal, I'd expect this level of wear after a few year, not months.

We've had this item since December 2015. Began usage Christmas. My children have lots of fun but thus far Ive had to make multiple repairs to it because its been falling apart. Bolts coming off, the break snapped off, the plastic body cracked, etc. The scooter has deteriorated a lot faster than it should specially being used under normal conditions. No mud, water, hammers or any other destructive tendencies kids sometimes have, We've taken really good care of it yet, it has fallen apart making it unsafe. I attempted to contact the seller and was unsuccessful because I could not find a way to do so.

I love this scooter, however the quality doesn't seem to be that great. I will see how long it last, my daughter has used it for 3 months so far.

great gift idea , the price was reasonable. quality is great. Its a gift so the delivery was fast and reliable. Package was left at mailbox area as expected.
