Roseanne at her most real, honest, and authentic self with the Hawaiian back drop
This is a guilty pleasure and I'm not a fan of reality television shows, so this is probably my only exception. There are 16 twenty minute episodes on 2-discs. I wish there were more as I thoroughly enjoyed this. Out of the decades of Roseanne in entertainment and in the media, this was the closest most intimate and real depiction of Roseanne I've ever seen. She comes off like a super cool, radical, and funny woman. The first time I watched this I ended up binge watching as it kept pulling me in. Suddenly I wanted to hang out at her house, because that's what it feels like.Love the Hawaiian back drop, the chill Hawaiian music, and location shots. Loved to see what it's like for her on this nut farm she bought. She's like her Roseanne television character, but much more uncensored. In fact, if you get squeamish over fowl language, this might be too much for you. Although they do bleep all of that out so you might be able to get through it. It is worth it and enjoyable. Loved seeing the cast of characters that would stop by from family members to eccentric friends, employees, and locales. There are some well known faces that stopped by like Michael Fishman who played DJ on her Roseanne television show, also Phyllis Diller and Sandra Bernhard stop by for a girls night out with drinks that is hilarious. There were moving moments such as when she drives through the streets to feed the homeless, to her empowering women's speech at the all girls school, to her other empowering speech at the gay pride in Salt Lake City with her mom and brother. This was engaging and entertaining and funny. It felt like I was spending the Summer at Roseanne's house. She is definitely in-charge and the matriarch of the household. You almost forget while watching that this was one of the #1 top television actresses who is worth $100 million give or take. You just get someone direct, honest, down to earth, and funny. The only negative is that I wish there were more episodes, and that there were some bonus extras. This DVD is the bare minimum. Basically all you get are the episodes. There is no bonus anything, no closed captioning if that's important, and I also found the sound was a bit low on my computer even when I turned it up. I had to put it on the big screen and crank it up there and plug in my computer speakers on other occasions I'd watch this. It was loud enough when I put it on the other systems, so it could've just been my computer, but none of my other DVD's do that though on the computer.Anyway, definitely recommend this for the diehard Roseanne fans or those who are open to see what she's really like with an open mind of course. You have to be pretty cool to get and enjoy this.

WHEN I WANT A GOOD LAUGH, I WATCH "ROSEANNE'S NUTS"
EXCELLENT, REAL FUNNY REALITY SHOW.I saw "Roseanne's Nuts", by accident, when it was on TV. I was hooked after Episode 1. I watched every episode, until it went off the air. I always wanted to see every episode again, but had no idea where to find them. I found them here, and bought them all. This show is in my "TOP-5 FUNNIEST TV SHOWS" list. No matter how bad my day has been, I'll am busting-up laughing at this show. Every single episode has been really funny. The way she talks and how she words things, is hilarious. If I was living with her, I'd be laughing all day long. Her sense of humor is realistic, and she says things that we all have thought but just didn't want to say (or didn't have the guts to say). The scenery of Hawaii is beautiful in this show, and I just can't find anything wrong with any of the episodes. I wish this show was still on TV. I love Roseanne. She may have done nutty stuff in her life, but honestly, that nutty stuff is what makes this show so funny. I give her a ton of credit, for letting the cameras film her private life, their conversations, their arguments, their problems, etc. This show was very well done.Out of 10 stars, I give it a 10.

An Unexpected Surprise
I'll admit that I originally watched the first episode of this out of curiosity, not expecting a lot. However, once I got hooked, I got really hooked. Now that I've finished all of the episodes, I wish there was a second season! As someone else mentioned, this was not a "look how rich I am" reality series. Her house was not a mansion and she did not have servants. She surrounded herself with love - from her son and daughter to her boyfriend to her dear, if somewhat wacky friends. I got the feeling that we were seeing the "real" Roseanne and she was a delight. She was always one to "tell it like it is," and that hasn't changed. What surprised me was how many times I was touched watching this. Particularly memorable was when she was asked to sing the "Star Spangled Banner" for a girl's softball game. After the fiasco which sunk her career, it offered her a chance for redemption. It also scared her to death. When she finally decided to go through with it and sang the song, I found myself in tears. Call me crazy, but it made me a Roseanne fan for life!I recommend this series if you want to laugh and cry and be entertained. I think it will surprise you.

Great Entertainment
I loved this show and often rewatch it. It's just a lot if fun. I enjoy watching the relationship Roseanne has with her boyfriend who can be quite funny and charming and plays off Roseanne well. Her kids are also on the show who are enjoyable as is her young friend Craig Sipes who is a bit of a new age gypsy type who use to be in a boy band and now lives off and on in a tent near her house lol. Some people from her tv sitcom come by to visit including Sandra Bernhart and Michael Cushman. Phyllis Diller also shows up and goes out with Roseanne for a night of drinking. Roseanne please bring back the show. I am guessing she got rid of the cameramen who she complained about at times. It's a great show and has touching moments as well but is mostly just a lot of fun to watch. Wish there was more then one season.
