Caffelatex Tire Sealant is different than other liquid latex sealants on the market -- it has a foaming agent that effectively creates a tire filling foam as your tire rolls down the road or trail. The advantage is that the Caffelatex foaming sealant can seal the rim/tire junction and sidewall punctures as you ride. For a sidewall puncture, other riders will have to stop and jiggle their tires to allow sealant to flow towards the damaged portion of the tire. But you'll ride right on by as Caffelatex does the job for you. Caffelatex is a liquid, latex based tire sealant. It's ammonia-free, so it won't harm your tires and rims. It's available in a 1000ml bottle that, depending on your tire size and type, will allow you to install and seal at least ten tires. Caffelatex will seal punctures as big as 6mm in mountain and 3mm in road tires with high pressures.

So far so good at 500 miles
I have very limited experience with tubeless tires and sealants. This product has mixed reviews some stemming from a formulation error a few years ago. I have 500 miles on the tires with Caffelatex and no problems. I do understand that there is a problem with cleaning Caffelatex from the rims when changing the tires, but this is an issue with all sealants including auto wheels.I used a 30 cc syringe to install it. In any case you will need to get some sort of device to do the job.A little advice- carry at least one spare tube with you in case you get a puncture that will not seal. No sealant is able to seal every size hole.

Works great.
Thinner consistency than expected, but I don't know why I expected anything different. Easy to use, has worked great.

I decided to give it a try. I ride ...
I decided to give it a try. I ride Tufo tubulars and rode a new tire with Caffelatex in the rain, sort of hoping to get a puncture, just to see what would happen. Midway through the ride, I complained that my legs were tired. When I got home I discovered that my bicycle and my back were covered with latex and I had only 25 lbs. of air in my rear tire! I put in another 50 ml. and pumped it back up to 140 lbs, and have been riding it )pumping to130 lbs.for two weeks. Got me home and sure beats the alternative.
