We use these for when riding the motorcycle. They’re a great material for the money. You spend very breathable great for all seasons. This and protection is amazing and the materials not too thick, but not too thin very much all purpose.!

I purchased this Dias De Las Muertos style motorcycle gaiter in early May after my city underwent a mandatory face covering rule due to Covid-19. Prior to receiving it I had been wearing an N95-mask with elastic straps that pulled out my hair, made me so dizzy after about 5 minutes that I could not do much of anything, and fogged my glasses. On top of that, I had to take it on and off all day long, and every time I fiddled with the straps they pulled out more and more hair....I did try a bandana, but it was hard to keep it up. also tying it in back usually resulted in more broken and pulled hairs (I have a lot of hair)Now I put this around my neck like a scarf when I go out, and all I have to do is pull it up. Or push it down when I get in my car. It is as effective as a cloth mask, meets all of the mandatory face covering requirements around here (including not taking paper masks away from medical personnel), and I get compliments on it all day long. Yesterday in a store a woman thought I had a bare face and was smiling at her and said it really made her happy to see someone smiling after only seeing masked faces for so long. However, I rather doubt anyone would be let into the store with a bare face! I told her I was smiling under the mask! I have also had a man half my age try to pick up on me because the face on this gaiter is pretty (I was twice his age, older and married but it was still flattering to have him flirt shamelessly with me while we stood in line at the store, LOL).I do have to say that it still does get hot trying to breathe under it after a while, and that my glasses still fog up with it. However, I have been wearing it every time I leave the house for the past month and a half (and have even worn it on 2 flights) and it has not started to wear out or get pilled bumps on it and the printing is just as strong as it was when I bought it (I have hand washed it a few times).

i use this face mask under my motorcycle helmet. I like it cause it's not too thick and you can breath easily, but the down side of it is the print out. the smile printed is too low and you are forced to fold the top part in so you can align the smile with your face and eyes. I ordered 2 of them. On one a chopped it off the top part and sewed the remain portion to where i wanted it to be. On the other one, I just sewed the extra portion leaving a huge part folded in that goes all the way down to my mustache area making it a little harder to breath for me. i have to adjust it so I can breath easily while riding.

I was thrilled with this face gaiter. I used it to upgrade my nun habit for a local Fiesta Parade. In order for it to stay up in place and fit perfectly I folded down the nose and stitched it and I also cut horizontal slits for my ear tops so that it stayed up hooked to them. Small modifications, because once I had the wimple on there was no adjusting it. It was easy to breathe through, and really creepy that it smiles when you do and your cheeks stretch it out. As other have pointed out the same face is inexplicably printed on the BACK side as well, but for my purposes that didn't matter. I was even able to drink water through it after the parade, but then it was pretty hard to breathe through the wet fabric until it dried. Overall I give it 100% and I'm going to buy another one in case I want to have a skeletal pal come with me to another parade someday.

Would be great if the skull wasn't printed on both sides.

I didn't see any description that it was two sided, so when you put it on, there's a mouth at the back of your head too.

Image is VERY blurry and is imprinted on both the front and back, which means you have to wear a hat and have a high collar or look stupid with a face on the front and one on the back- your choice. Image is larger than life and also wears sunglasses which is NOT shown in the photos. In fact they made an effort to make it look like it stops at the top of the nose. This means that you have to fold the top 4" inside to make it work. Not an easy task, as it is so damned tight!I bought it to use in one photo shoot and I'll make it work for that, but this item is definitely NOT as pictured and I strongly suggest you try one of the many other sellers on Amazon that sell a similar product.
