I would have loved this
I really had two minds about this but I don't regret buying it. You can smell the leather and the brown is really nice. The only thing is the holder where you stick the pen into came out of the base thats stuck in the leather and I would need someone to fix this. Other than that I think it's going to make a nice gift for my guy. It really does look executive.Update~~~~~I got the part fixed at a watch store when I carried the little clock that comes in the pen holder to get a battery and have it set. My guy loves the set and put it all in his new office.

Good Set
Good value for the money. It is functional, and it looks good. Need to buy a couple of good writing instruments to replace the cheap and "cheesy-looking" ones they included. The best 80-bucks you spend on such item

Cheap Garb
This set is very cheaply made. Several items are made of cardboard and broke on the first day. The clock in the pen cup does not work at all. It looks good from a distance but is all very chintzy.
