They look good but you'll need to glue the parts together. They fall right apart.

I ordered 2 of these desk sets for use as props in a play. When they arrived both sets were damaged: the pencil cup of each set had come off its base, a side had fallen off one paper tray, and the other paper tray has a cracked spot where a nail was poorly fired into the wood. I was able to re-glue the pieces myself and will keep them since they will be seen only from a distance, but I find it very unfortunate that these items were not better made.

This ensemble is not at all what it looked like on the web site. Plus, though perhaps damaged in shipment, some of the pieces had the nails pulled out of some of the pieces. I bumped them back in and used some glue. The company said I could return the entire set for another set, but only needed to return a few pieces, so kept it, but would not recommend this company to another buyer.

Sadly even though there were no good reviews, I bought this set for my daughters boyfriend. There were several pieces broken or at least that had fallen apart. I was able to fix them and he really likes the set. The manufacturer should do a little better job putting them together.

The letter holder, memo holder and pencil cup are broken. We need to fix them ourselves. No pens at all!!!
