OktavaSM-20 Shock Mount 20mm for MK-012, MK-101, MK-102, MK-103, MK-104 and other mics (black)

Bought this to use with modified mk-012's I've had for a long time. The mics are supposed to slide into this rubbery plastic ring that sits inside the metal barrel of the mount, which does not spring or clasp, it's just a tube that you shove the mic into. Well the plastic thing wants to fall out and even when it seems stable it's very easy to slide the mic around. So if you're doing a tight xy for example there is no way you could rely on this thing to keep the mics from moving around throughout a session without tape. I don't want to be taping mics up all the time... I'll return these and keep looking.

I returned this along with the mic, MK-012, and foam cover. The mic wasn't for me and what I needed to do for Podcast, VO, and taping. For me, it's too small once it's connected via XLR. the mount sleeve wasn't working great when I needed to unplug the XLR. You may like, I returned in several days.
