New Intel Centrino Wireless-N + WiMAX 6150 612BNXHMW Wireless PCIE Half Hight Wireless WLAN Wifi Card 802.11b/g/n 300Mbps

I have an Asus U56E laptop and apparently this model has a problem with the Intel 6150 WiFi card being faulty. I ordered the replacement card on Oct 7th, 2014 and received it Oct 20th, 2014. I finally had the opportunity to install the new one and it fired up immediately. So far it's working well and connecting with no problem.I had a problem connecting to the internet. I kept getting a message saying that there was no network adapter. Despite the fact that I kept installing the adapters, as well as the Intel drivers, it just wouldn't stay connected. When I did get connected it would only last a few minutes and I'd lose connectivity again.Despite everything I did, it finally came down to the WiFi card. I ordered it through Amazon and finally received it. The only problem is that it takes about two weeks to come from China but other than that it's working fine.Pros:Works great, easy to install (provided you have experience dismantling a laptop)Cons:It would be nice if there were cards available locally so you don't have to wait two weeks for delivery.

The card I bought from JM Electronics was perfect. Fit my daughter's ASUS laptop as a drop in replacement and solved her connection problems.

So grateful that I could find just what I needed to complete the repair on my Asus U46e. It arrived promptly and was priced fairly.

Replaced the original card in my Dell w/ this. I was surprised to find it is a lot faster.
