I don't usually find time to write reviews. I spent weeks googling and comparing products for a case for my gun collections. I am a neat-freak when it comes to my precious possessions. I narrowed down and purchase the Elkton case for 5 weapons based on reviews. It's neat that you can pluck-out the pre-cut foam according to your organization desire. Here are my issues with the pluck-out foam: 1) The foam is very soft it's not strong enough to hold the firearms. The foam is the same quality use on bed-toppers. The weight of the firearm squeezes the foam, sides and bottom so the slot created is deformed. 2) The pre-cut foam is not the exact size of the magazines, be it .45 or 9mm. The slot created is either too small or too big. 3) Once you pluck-out the foam, there is no way you can put it back. 4) The case is lil heavy and looks enormous and almost like a tool-box look. So I returned it and started googling again.Please see my review of DORO case. What a huge difference.

Great box even better value!
Good strong sturdy box I use it for pistol range transport. It's advertised as a 5 gun box but I managed to get 6 in the box with 15 mags.

Look for another carry case
The foam setup is garbage. Do not purchase this product. Everytime I pull the gun out the foam is so cheap a piece comes out. To charge 99 for this case is over priced.

Know if you want to store your pistols vertically or horizontally.
Quality case and well built. Unfortunately I have some long barrel pistols that didn't quite fit.....that being said, it's a great case for 99% of the pistol shooters out there.
