This blanket has vibrant colors accurately represented in the picture. There are two identical layers sown together. I would say the layers are maybe 1/4" each? The edging band is fairly wide at 1" and is kind of a dull purple material. Not ideal. The package comes tightly bound in plastic. You are to fluff it in the dryer for 20-30 min. They have a nice smelling dryer sheet included. There is a material bag to store it in, also included. It's a nice warm blanket, 87" wide per their insert. I didn't actually measure it.

This is not a 10 lb korean mink blanket. I have one from JML Fleece Blanket here on Amazon and this blanket is much lighter. It's is extremely soft and comfortable but not as warm or heavy as the JML one. The colors are amazing and the packaging is great. The edge binding is lackluster but will hold.

An original JYK blanket is the best gift someone ever gave me . I received one in 2003 as a gift and till this date 1/2022 still silky , warm, fluffy and durable. This Christmas 2021 I wanted to give my loved ones something that they would enjoy thru the years . I got each of them a JYK blanket.They love their blanket ! Got lots of compliments !! I got this baby and I must say it's SUPPPEERRRRRR SOFT and thick to my liking not too light or not super heavy, just perfect. Order king size, which I felt it could've been a tab bit longer and wider other than that my ratings would be 4.5 star 🤣😂🙈 the length width matters 😂🤣🤪😜🙈I would totally order from here again

This blanket is incredibly soft; however, it is not as warm as the ones that were made by Solaron back in the 90s. It is also lighter (not as heavy) than the old school 2-ply mink blankets. We ordered a king size, but it does not cover the front or sides of the mattress (see photo). The blanket came vacuum-sealed, so removing from the packaging, it was very wrinkled; however, once you wash the blanket, the wrinkles are no longer an issue. The blanket comes with a bag, with a zipper, for storage. Nice blanket, but not made like they once were.

The weight is just right, very soft and comfortable.
