Gelwriter Gel Pen Set with Rotating Stand, 100-Count (27131-D)

I have quite a few pens already, but just looking at these made me drool! I was using an old cigar box to store my other pens, and still am, but this stand really appealed to me since it rotates. I got my order and the pens were nice and tightly shipped in a plastic bag, with the stand in a box.It was easy to open and put all the pens in place, which you can do however you like! Yes, there are a few doubles, but I don't really care. Mot of the doubles are colors I use a lot, so I won't run out as soon as if I had only one. Of all the gel pen sets there are on Amazon, and I only looked at a few dozen...this one is great. Yes the stand is a teeny bit wobbly, but it hasn't fallen apart or rolled of my table. If you want super sturdy...get a wooden lazy susan, if you can find one just like this! I wouldn't hesitate buying another one of these at all. It is a bit pricey but you do get 100...ONE HUNDRED Pens!!! And the pens are top quality. No leaking, no mess, just a great smooth writing pen! PERFECT for my projects.

So I got these and so far they work out well. The colors write exactly as one would expect. The only color not useful is the highlighter yellow, since you can't see what has been written very well. I don't use the stand it brought, because I feel that it would only drain the ink down to the top of the pen. Otherwise, great product!

Positive: The ink is smooth, opaque, and covers well without seeping through the back of the paper.Negative: These don't meet my needs at all. Although there is variety in the pens, that comes in the form of glitter, metallic, or flat inks - not color. At least half of the pens are duplicates, but there is no decent RED, YELLOW or kelly GREEN. One of the pens was leaking and went immediately into the trash. The "carousel" is worthless to me, and immediately went into the recycling bin. I guess there's no substitute for going to the art store and hand-picking the pens!

I wanted to try this not sure of what to expect, ONCE AGAIN, I Don't know what I can add to what's been written by others they covered about every angle, except don't read the horrible reviews. I TRIED EACH ONE and as it said on the sheet (small) that comes with it, some don't start right away, but EVERY ONE WORKED and also some did as it said on the (small} instruction sheet took longer to dry and can smear, maybe blotter paper might help. I would imagine Amazon might have it with Fountain pens, and last time I was shopping paper, in the local art center they had some porous paper for block printing for those who can't wait for the ink to dry.Some Notes;The mix was fairly equal with 38 regular gel ink pens, 32 metallic and 30 glitter pens. The color mix I assume is very random, I imagine a summer crafts program who would purchase a half dozen, would get a pretty good mix. As is not an even asst. Primary colours short in supply on this one.That by the way, camp use or journal decoration would seem a very good use for this purchase.The points, ink composition other variations produce lines from 05 t0 09 the glitter being the widest and metallics seem to be sensitive the pressure used. Hope I added something to the take on these, oh one last remark on the tray would be about par with the pens, which may be made to fit the Bic like barrels. I am sure like me if you buy these you won't be returning these and will find a way to make use of these. At that price a nice stocking stuffer, for the not real young child.

these are just wonderful, they are the best gel pens ever! I love gel pens, and I draw my own pics, and love to color them in after, I have been thru so much money with expensive pencils, and markers, and then I found these, OH its a miracle, they are so smooth, they fill in perfect, they are like butter, and the color variety is astonishing! OH I am so pleased, and they come with so many for a great price, I paid so much at walmart, for only 18 pens, and this is just wow, the best deal I have seen! and the variety of colors is just the BEST!! YOU'LL be so happily pleased, and if you're looking for something better, to color with, YOU will be happy you tried gel pens!

You get a nice variety of pens and I like TEKwriter pens, they are good quality for what you spend. I would like to mention that you observe the picture for this product though, it is 100 pens, not 100 colors, there are many of the same, I think it is fairly obvious I just thought it worth mentioning. My only real complaint (and it is strictly cosmetic) was that while the holder does its job, I would like it to be a little deeper so I didn't feel like all my pens were going to fall out every time I spin it. It does do its job though, they may look like they are about to fall out, but they are not. Overall I am very satisfied with this product.

The perfect concept for those that love to color. I bought these to use on the Mandala design books that I purchased and they work amazing! The ink doesn't bubble at the tips and leak all over. They write incredibly smooth. Contrary to popular belief, storing them with the tip facing upwards doesn't cause the ink to go to the base and not write anymore. I am in love with these pens!

I have decided that I don't like these gelwriter pens very much.They take forever to dry, even with a light coat and the ink is very thin, watery almost. I used a small amount to do some outlining on part of my picture, came back 3 hours later to finish up and even though I ran my finger over the last spot I had outlined and the gel appeared to be dry I accidentally brushed my hand across another part and it smeared on the paper. humidity was extremely low and the temps were in the high 60's so atmosphere didn't slow down drying. Probably won't buy again. Difficult to tell normal colors from neon or sparkly. Picked out 3 different pinks, used them on scratch paper to test, they were identical to each other. I don't believe that the description stated there were duplicates
