Can’t beat the sound quality!
Love this pedal! Found it off watching hours of YouTube looking for the right price and features of a delay and reverb pedal. Not sold at retailers in the US like GCenter or Sweetwater so it wasn’t easy to find out about it. I like plate reverb and easy to use nice sounding delay with tap tempo options. It has both. I like clear studio quality sounds and it has that. Saw Pete Thorn do a solid review of it and said to myself try it because it has everything I’m looking for. It’s like a Strymon but at a lower price point. Does reverb and delay simultaneously or on their own. I’m the type of guy who like just a little of both on always. Turning the knobs can get me that slight sound I like. But it can also get long decays and delays for those looking for that Pink Floyd sound. Played PF’s run like hell for my wife and she understood why I was excited about the pedal. Opening it up feels and looks like a $300 pedal. Excellent packaging too which is always nice. Not sure how they do the price point other then it’s not made in the US. But Boss pedals aren’t either... seams like some excellent engineer left Strymon and said I could do this as good and more cost effective. I would absolutely recommend this to anyone looking at buying a reverb or delay or both pedal. Buy it and you don’t have to look any further. I run a Marshall JCM 800 new 20/5 watt studio series head through a 2X12 Marshall cab that pairs with the head. Love that new amp by Marshall BTW but with this pedal my room is filled out with excellent sound.

Well thought out design
The NUX Atlantic is a well thought out design...they added a decimal cut which allows me to use this pedal in the front of my amp without having my signal lost in the mix...It also has a switch to allow me to assign reverb before delay or vice verse in a cascaded effect....Switching it back to the other settings and it sounds more equal not one running into the other...I actually prefer cascading them and then balancing them out where reverb is slightly bigger than delay.Over all this pedal has some other really cool feature that I thought were also neat to have but I hardly ever see myself ever using in a live setting...Holding down the reverb with the setting in Plate and you get a euphoric tail at the end of each note...Set the reverb to Hall and then hold the reverb switch down and the last single note will sustain , the only problem with this is as soon as something else is played it becomes distorted if the delay is also engaged.I have been looking for a decent reverb that doesn't wash out running straight into my 100w tube head and this pedal seems to be exactly what I've been looking for.I own one other NUX pedal the "High Gain Distortion" and think compared to that one NUX has steeped up their game when they made this pedal. The Atlantic is almost reminiscent as far as looks and feel as a certain reverb/tremolo only theirs is much more expensive and includes tremolo instead of delay...And when it comes to value theirs cost X3 the amount of this one and your not even getting a delay.Good for NUX to make an affordable piece of gear that can compete with the big boys and actually has delay/reverb choice all in one.

Simplicity is key : NUX Atlantic
I play rhythm mainly so I don’t need a dl4 or a x4 delay at my feet taking up on top of a reverb pedal which I would likely set it at a go-to sound and then never bother to change it unless I want to be crazy. That’s where the NUX Atlantic comes in. It’s two pedals in one. It’s “set it and forget it unless you want to get a little more and if so, it’s there but don’t expect to outdo the Edge, though you could put up a fight”. It’s everything I would need and nothing I don’t. With jacks on the top it actually saves even more pedal space. The parallel feature is super handy and works well. Build quality is solid. Sound quality is great. I will point out that the reverbs are on the darker side and though they are extremely usable. if you want really noticeable reverb this might not be the pedal for you. It excels in the “notice it only if when it’s gone reverb” which I find perfect for rhythm playing. The sustain feature is fun and can be useful in the right moments. The smart tap tempo is a selling point. (What’s a delay if you can’t match the tempo in a band setting?! Come on people!) The three options of reverb and delay are all perfect for what you’d need and sound great! BOTTOM LINE: if you don’t desire a dl4 style delay option AND aren’t touching your reverb during a session but still using it, this is your pedal. Everything you need. Nothing you don’t.
