after trying about 3 different brands i got these and ill stop looking. my favorite thing about these shorts is the elastic waist, they stay up even without tying. on a food gut like mine is so nice. thats what i was looking for. the material is medium thickness, soft and comfy. medium deep pockets with no zippers, but thats ok cause i rarely used the zipper pockets on others anyway. they are long and non restrictive in all private areas.

WELL BUILT SHORTS USING GOOD MATERIAL. FIT ME WELL ALL AROUND. NICE WIDE WAISTBAND WITH LONG THICK DRAWSTRING. WOULD BUT AGAIN.

The front pockets on these weren't deep enough to hold my phone, it stuck out a couple inches. The back pocket was also too low. I ended up returning.They were comfortable and fit well though.

Thicker material used may not be desirable for summer wear.
