Updated Review after Four months of usage
The leads don't break easily. As I mostly draw with pen and ink, a mechanical pencil compliments things better because of its ability to draw accurate drafts. I have been using these leads on my Pentel Graph 600 for the last four months and I haven't been disappointed. As a matter of fact, I am still on my first lead. Mechanical pencils with quality leads like Pentel Ain Stein last longer and I think I might be okay for the next 2-3 years with this purchase. This is a brilliant investment without a hint of doubt in my mind.
