Yes they will fit small hands, they are light and the blades are flexible. Good for a light touch. Practice makes perfect.

Q: Weird question, but i need these to seperate iced cakes from a acryllic board. are the blades of these knives really thin? thanks.

They are the same thickness as any pallet knife you may find in your favorite "craft" stores - you may be better off looking for a blade designed to do the job. I love them for blending my oil colors... Good luck and keep creating!
