the sturdiness is like a cross between cardboard box and plastic.the leather case smells like something else but its still leather.when putting it on there's no struggle,it easily fits like a glove with a soft pop but has a faint grip on the phone locking it in and comes off much easier than apples leather case.it wraps just enough not to overlap or touch the screen.the case is not lose for me,it will not come off unless you intellectually pop the sides out and its easy to remove,the leather cover is very gentle on the phone.if you like your covers ruff on your s10+ this is not for you,this case treats your phone very gentle but the case does not fall off like some people are saying unless its getting soaked in liquids.im very happy with the case,the four stars is because samsung overcharged this case.it should had been this pricethe carrier delivered the product in perfect condition as well,and charged a fair price than samsung.i wish they still had s10 black leather cases left
