Fits inside a 2 inch NPT pipe
spring seems a little undersized or soft , Hopefully the valve will hold up for many years this is my first time using a foot valve in a well. Had to help a friend fix his pump. Keep the water from draining back down the well while it pumps. Fits nicely inside a 2 inch NPT pipe with about 1/4 inch clearance on each side

Yep you're gonna like this valve. MUCH better and longer-lasting than the brass ones with the metal filter thing. I've gone through countless brass valves due to the metal shield falling off. I'm using the original plastic one for the 2nd season in a row. I recommend this.

Doesn't hold up, poor design
This valve does not last. I am now looking to replace this valve for the 4th time in 6 years. The valves do not have a tight seal and leak liquid. overtime the leak increases to the point it doesn't work as it cant keep the pump sufficiently primed.

Brady combination foot/check valve
Over all works with my shallow well transferring from a shallow creek. But it seems to be leaking a little and I have had to reposition a few times. It still leaks, but I'm living with it!It was easy to add to a 1" pipe setting.
