What can I say about this product then just to say how fantastic it is. I have experienced many blackouts and very scared of times being alone. I searched and searched for some kind of help in cases if I were to be alone. I had searched for a long time and so many companies are very expensive. Other companies are third party and bill you monthly, That is absurd! This product is so easy to install it literally takes seconds. Easy to use and guess what? there are no third parties you talk to, If something was to happen all you do is press the button and it dials your local 911 operator direct. You can speak into the monitor in which they send you so you either hand it on your neck or clip it to your pants, skirt, purse etc...And best of all if you can't speak the 911 operator already had your address. ll you do is connect it to your telephone line and that is it ! why pay for a monthly service. this product is amazing and it does the job well. You pay one time and that is it! This is exactly what I was looking for, The other thing that I worried about was the other companies that offer products like this with monthly payments is that when you press the button you speak to a company first and then they will direct the call to 911. My fear is and has always been employees selling your private info. Not with this product, when you push that button you are dialing from your home directly to 911 for help. Follow the easy directions and then make sure you do a test call, push the button and you will hear ringing, you will then hear 911 what is your emergency? You just simply say this is not an emergency and I have a 911 emergency alert in my house that I'm testing. they ask you first what is your home address ? I told them and they confirmed it and that the device was working properly. Of course my security issues always come in play. I was still a bit nervous when he asked ME the home address. I then called 911 from my telephone and asked if there was a call made by my number time and date. They confirmed yes. I was so happy to hear that . If anyone is paying monthly fees for any 911 alert system then you are no doubt throwing your money away. This is an amazing product and I highly recommend it. Thank you

Initial base unit received was not operating, but a call to the Design Tech support line was answered promptly by a live person who quickly diagnosed the problem and immediately put a new base unit in the mail to me at no cost. GREAT PRODUCT SUPPORT! This replacement worked perfectly and my testing of the range of the phone to base was excellent. This unit was purchased for my 80 year old mom who is near blind and hard of hearing. She had been receiving numerous calls from services that wanted to sign her up for an alert service with a call center (who knows where) that would then call 911 if needed. These services have monthly fees and an initial cost that all totaled seemed financially draining. This unit has a single purchase price and you're done! Once I set up the unit in my mom's house I walked around her yard outside and used the test button to check status. I got excellent coverage everywhere in her yard and beyond (over 200'). I also checked her basement and got good coverage there as well. So everywhere she may decide to go she now has peace of mind that pressing one button will put her in touch directly with the local 911 operator. I had her test the actual button to call the 911 operator to make absolutely sure she would be able to communicate successfully (her hearing is not good), but the volume level was perfect and she told the 911 operator that there was no emergency, just testing her new Guardian Alert. The operator asked for her street address which she provided and the operator told her that was what was on her screen. Perfect! Now mom knows what to expect when she may need to press the button. It's all about peace of mind, and this unit delivers that and may someday save her life. Thanks Design Tech - a very cost effective solution. Now if those darn high-pressure (the sugar-sweet type) sales people from those expensive call center services will just stop calling her.

Only works with land line.

Saved us a ton of money over other pendant devices that required LONG Contracts (some 3 years) and a monthly fee. The Guardian Alert 911 has NO monthly fees and is so simple to connect. Plug the base station into an electric wall plug. Insert the provided battery in the pendant then place in the charging base cradle till the green light comes on. Now plug the unit into your phone wall plug and THATS IT! The base communicates with the pendant and you can easily test it by pressing the white button on the bottom of the pendant. You'll hear a dial tone on the pendant where upon it goes through a diagnostic test and comes back stating the system is connected correctly. Once a month, insert the pendant back in the charging base station to recharge the pendant battery and your good to go for another month. The Pendant actually acts as a cordless phone with one exception, it AUTOMATICALLY dials 911 only. Your loved one can speak to the 911 operator with just a press of the pendant button. I also liked the fact that the pendant button is not super sensitive which help prevents false calls to 911. You have to press and hold the button down for a about 2 seconds before it dials out. One thing that means almost as much as a quality product is its customer service. LogicMark has not just a good but EXCELLENT customer service department. They are there for you with any question you have. I had asked about the battery backup product and was quickly emailed information on the battery backup for the unit. Mom feels more secure now and we feel better that, GOD FORBID if she needs emergency help, its there with a press of a button. The seller was also excellent delivering the unit quickly and even sent a followup email to make sure I was happy with the purchase. A WIN WIN purchase on all counts

Total waste of money. Did not work at all. I was hoping for some extra security when I fall in the home. Very disappointed.
