Best salted codfish ever! Yum 😋
I bought it although I thought it was a bit pricey but I was looking for good quality salted codfish which I couldn’t find locally. This is real solid fish and just enough salt not excessive. The result 😘 quite tasty and flavorful 💛I am quite pleased with this find and will purchase it again soon.

ARRIVED BAD then GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE fixed
Before I buyed I made my own research and finally decided to buy my fish from this supplier.My 1st fish arrived inside a plastic wrap, a wet butcher paper and a wet fish.... yes it was WET!, so I transfered my fish to another paper (brown paper of the first photo) and put some kitchen paper towels over it to dry it but suddenly OMG a nasty smell coming out the fish, so I just trashed right away, did not want to take any chances...Then I contacted supplier, shared my history and they said that smell was "normal" because it was fish, that the fish looked good and that I should put some LEMON JUICE over the fish to eliminate the smell but I said no.... I just trashed and asked for refund (sadly, because was for my christmas dinner)...After going back and forth with emails, supplier finally offered me to send a new package with express shipping to make it this right, I agreed and it arrived safe and sound. As you can see in the 2nd picture, this one was correctly packed, not wet at all it was dry (SALTED!), so this was like DAY - NIGHT between 1st shipment and 2nd shipment, there was no nasty smell and I just started to prepare it right away for christmas!!, I am cooking it now and FISH IS GREAT QUALITY, REAL BACALAO , so If you are thinking of buying BACALAO this is the one!!, in my case it went wrong the first time but they fixed right for the 2nd time, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE and I am very happy that I will be able to get my christmas dinner.THANK YOU!

Full of bones, and tough as cow hide
The first time I ordered baccala from the seller, it was moist, tender and delicious. This time, it was full of bones, dry, and tough as cow hide. It was an expensive, disappointing culinary experience.
