Very useful tool that has been very durable so far.

The price is best part versus what I normally pay and the exceed those nippers by far. I'm an industrial insulator and use regular..if you look at reviews and wonder if worth it buy them ..these versus Klein you will love these..like cutting butter.

Works great on nails and metal, I broke my edge on a deck screw twice though.

This is the second Knipex I invested in and what can I say, they are the best in the business. These tools don't give out after a few uses and they stay sharp. I heard about Knipex after doing some research and slowly I'm switching out all my pliers to Knipex moving forward. I would strongly recommend buying a pair and seeing for yourself. They are worth every penny as these will outlast every other brand you have.

The build quality of these is good but some guidance on cutting nails would have been useful. I bought these hoping to trim some exposed 16d common nail ends in a shed. As it turns out, 8d is probably the practical limit for these. 12d takes a lot of force and 16d takes a number of chomps at different angles to work into the middle of the nail. A sharper jaw angle would help. The jaws seem to be shaped to not be damaged when cutting small, very hard wire. Most people dealing with very hard wire would have dedicated hard wire cutters. These work fine on fence wire and heavy hardware cloth.
