Great for the price!

Needed replacement cable for Asus portable monitor that utilizes USB-C/Thunderbolt and Display Port over Alt Mode protocol; wasn't easy to find a compatible cable that was also longer than 1M/3' in length. Thus one is 6' and works perfectly using either the Thunderbolt port or, with adapter, USB-A 3.1 port. Only recently got it so don't know about durability just yet, but build quality seems excellent. Got this one from GodSpin; had never heard of them or bought from them before, but their execution was spot-on. Wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. Update: been several months, have now purchased a 2nd cable to leave at my office. Work perfectly, great company to do business with.

This is defo a step up from the general USBC cables out there. Sure it is a little more expensive, but the quality of the cable is second to none. There seems to be no issue with data transfer too which is one on the main reason's I got it. If you are in the market for a high speed USBC cable then look no further.

These guys don't f*** around. They say their cable is high quality, durable, high bandwidth, and everything you want in a USB-C cable, and they ain't lying. The only downsides to this item is 6ft is the longest you can get and it's a little on the pricey side but well worth it imo. If I could get 10-ft for the price of the 6-ft, I'd rate this item 5-stars. 4-stars is still real good coming from me.

It's a good cable. If you need one this one worked for me.

I used the the cable primarily as a power connector to my Mac Pro. The cable worked great for the first month or so, and then I found it constantly getting loose from the computer. I switched which side I connected to the computer which helped for a couple of weeks and then again it would slowly fall out- I expect the cable to come loose if it is pulled, but the amount of pressure was minimal- my previous cable never acted the same.I also know that cables can wear. I was using this for my laptop so I probably connected this on 2x a day on average. That should not be too much for 3 months time (the original apple cable at my desk at work is 3 years old and still functioning fine- I just wish I could go into my office to get it right now!!!)Despite the apparent quality I can't give this more than 1 star due to the cost of the cable vs its durability. For the price it should have been MUCH better.

Bought this cable for the ElGato capture card to connect directly with my switch dock without having to use the adapter, decreasing the probability of lag and latency when streaming. The cable is sturdy and does what its intended for.
