Question 1

What is the difference other than price, between this product and Nutiva Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil? And also smell, cooking, and taste wise?

Nutiva has had a lot of quality problems lately.  From molds to other issues reported on the reviews by buyers.  Nutiva is from the Philippines. I've been a lifelong user of 
 coconut oils, and I've found that quality control has been better with oils from Thailand and Malaysia.  My Son just bought a jar of Virgin Coconut Oil that says Made in the Philippines.  It turned rancid 2 months after he first opened the jar.  I have a Virgin Coconut Oil that says Made in Thailand I bought and opened a year ago (April 2018).  It still smells as fresh and lovely as the first day I opened it, and no mold formation at all.  I've traveled to Asia extensively, staying for months and years at one place at a time.  I also attend International Food Expos in Asia almost yearly, and I have found the same consistent observation among the exhibited products from the three countries.  Malaysia and Thailand have much better quality control of their oil than the Philippines.  My observation is consistent with the Amazon reviews of two different one gallon pails coconut oil here in Amazon - one from Malaysia and one from Philippines. I have no vested interest in what I'm saying, as am not in the coconut oil business, nor any other kind of oil business.

Is this coconut oil extracted with solvents or other chemicals? Thank you.

Nutiva brand coconut oil is refined by steam, not chemicals. This is what they call "RBD" CNOIl with stands for refined, bleached, and deodorized. If you shop around you can fine other CNOils that do not use chemicals in refining.  That said, CNOil is still far superior to other food oils.

Question 3

Can I use this oil in baking?  I have many bread recipes that call for "oil" and I want to find something I can use besides vegetable oils.

You will find you can use less oil than the recipes call for when baking with coconut oil.  I used 1/4 to 1/3 less and it works fine.  When I use the indicated amount, my baked goods, particularly cookies, come out greasy.

why is this oil so yellow???

mine is not yellow...are you sure you ordered the white oil and not the one that comes with yellow/orange color/butter flavored?I have ordered two of the white oil and both are pure white, actually clear when melted...great stuff...it does not taste or smell like coconut like you think it would...it is not the same smelling stuff that you get for sun tanning! I use this for everything: cooking, skin, in my pets food...you can pay a lot more for small containers called organic or 100% pure but this is the same and a great quality and you can not beat the price...definitely NOT CRAP as someone stated.
