Great budget knife
I bought this after borrowing my friends. It's a great knife, feels good and looks good. It is decently sharp too right out of the box and holds an edge well.

My new EDC
FB 7651. Another home run from Ganzo. This is my 6th or 7th knife from Ganzo. Very impressive for the price. This one checks all the boxes for me. Strong locking mechanism, great ergonomics, perfect weight. Out of the box sharp. I did take it apart to clean out the assembly dirt. The bearings the blade rides on were a bit dry. It now opens and closes like a dream. A lot of knife for the price. Highly recommended. The blade steel is fine. A bit on the low end of modern steels, but will sharpen easy and last a good long time.

spring tension on both locking system & the assist opening is quite heavy.
At the price point, this is a steal of a value. But under it's pretty face there are some issues. The Good:Ergo's a Very Good & I do mean VERY.The hand hold is VERY comfortable, at least in my hand. The knife is neither too Thicc or too skinny. The Mediocre:The weight is a compromise, no one & I do Mean NO ONE could put Titanium liners of a knife at this price point & the extra weight of the rather thick stainless steel liners does give any slash with this knife a bit of extra omph. The Bad:The spring weight on both the assist opening & the sliding lock are EXTREMELY Heavy, to the point of me contemplating taking off the scales to remove the Assist opening & trim down the spring on the locking mechanism. Both in fact are quite difficult to use. I frequently have reduced hand strength due to a side effect of Chemotherapy & was interested in the knife due to the ergo's(Still Very Good), the blade design(440c is really expected at this price point, so no real issue there) & the Axis Lock style locking system, since all the sliding lock style knives I have handled(MUCH Higher priced than these knives) have easy to use. But the locking system is VERY heavily sprung & so is the blade assist. On the blade lock, I have to use both the thumb & forefinger to unlock the blade, which somewhat awkward. To open the knife, I ALSO must use both the thumb & forefinger & a very hard wrist snap to extend the blade. Most of the time I just both fingers to get the blade started & then use my thumb to push past the assist to completely open the knife.I also purchased a Ganzo G746 at the same time. It's ergos are slightly less stellar(A bit more Boxy due to the Spear Point Blade), & most of the good & bad features are the same.Overall I AM Satisfied with both knives, but the weight of the Springs ARE a detracting factor. Even after lubing the hinge & several hundred cycles, the springs are in my option excessively heavy.

Absolutely amazing knife
I freaking love this knife. I carry it right next to my Benchmades. The axis lock performs exactly the same as them too. This knife is very smooth, very sharp, and all around a very good deal.

Superb Value
I’ve bought like 10 different knives from civivi, vosteed, crjb, crkt, ruike, kershaw, spyderco, kizer. They’re all great knives, but now I carry this $20 knife. It is neither fancy nor smooth, but it is well made. There was a lot of grit and grime in the pivot point that works out well with rem oil and repeating opening and closing. I swiped the base of the blade periodically with a Q tip as the oil carried out the particles. Now when I dive into a task, I’m not thinking about my 60 or 100 dollar knife getting torn up, which is the drawback of a collector’s mindset I guess. I ordered an extra one cause of the fantastic price point.

Close but no cigar.... RUST!
This knife is so close to being a good knife. Shaving sharp right out of the box, smooth bearings with no blade play right out of the box, good weight and balance, great G10 (not too smooth, not too rough), and the lock mechanism (although the spring weight is a little heavy imo) is good. I would have given this knife 5 stars if I had reviewed it right out of the box, but wanted to see how it held up over a month of EDC first...... and discovered the manufacturer must have cut costs in the WORST places. I own an assortment of knives by Eafengrow, Sitivien, and Ganzo and usually prefer D2 tool steel for its superior edge retention at a budget price, but went for this 440 stainless knife as an EDC because I live in coastal Florida and the D2 knives tend to get annoying rust spots if you don't maintain them. Well, I carried this knife for 2 weeks and the blade also developed rust spots (it never touched saltwater, or any water for that matter..... or anything other than my pocket, my dresser, and some zip-ties). Even worse, opening the knife became difficult.... the smoothness of the bearings was gone. I couldn't even open the thing with a hard one-handed flick anymore, so I decided to remove the blade to inspect the bearings. To my utter dismay, the bearings were rusted severely... so severely that I suspect the ball bearings are either a very low grade stainless or not stainless at all. Just the humid Florida air rusted the blade and the bearings in 2 weeks. To me, that is not acceptable for a knife of any price point. I have cleaned up the blade and bearings and the knife is usable, but the bearings will never be the same. In the cleaning process I also discovered that the thumb studs are 100% not stainless steel, as they took a deep black patina in vinegar. I've carried $5 Walmart knives that don't rust after years of hard use and abuse. Something is wrong here!!

Well made
Genuinely surprised by this knife. Good build quality strong springs that will take a little while to break in and a lifetime warranty too boot.
