Works great
This is a really good tool, I used it to cut 3/16 marine 1x19 stainless wire and it cut it easily, no dents made on the blades.

Just Too Short for Bolts
As a trucker, we cut bolts every once in awhile. These 18” will work, but after a dozen bolts, I’m going to buy the 24” model. The 18” is simply too short. You really have to torque down on the 18” until POW! it cuts through and everything goes flying. I’ve been using longer handle models at receivers in order to avoid using my 18” model and it’s simply smoother.

Wow, even at my age this is great
I'm senior and female with limited upper arm strength so I worried these might be beyond me ... but I needed to be able to cut steel chains used to latch trash can lids, feed bins, and hen coops against country scavengers (yes, I'm talking about you, raccoons!) They work well and I can use them with ease and success, what more needs to be said. Easy to store with the foldaway handles. Good deal.

Key to the city
These bolt cutters are great! Easily carried in a backpack at night, as to not draw suspicion. No lock has defeated them, so much free stuff!

Cutting edge needs radiused.
Very sturdy, but the cutting edge needed radiused. I couldn’t cut through a bolt seal on a semi trailer until I rounded off the cutting edges. Don’t put a sharp edge on the cutting surfaces as it will wear out prematurely.

Well made but a larger pair of bolt cutters would be more powerful.
I learned after buying these bolt cutters that strength in cutting off old padlocks, from equally made bolt cutters, will go to the larger pair of bolt cutters. This 18" Olympia bolt cutters being reviewed is good for its small size. But I have learned from experience that larger bolt cutters cut through the shackle on old pad locks with much less effort. With these 18" bolt cutters, you really have to put some serious arm muscle into your cuts. Oh well, this was one of those "learn by doing" experiences for me that we all experience in life. D.W.

Um pequeno gigante!
Essa tecnologia de dobrar os cabos para reduzir espaço é sensacional! Torna prático o transporte em mochilas e maletas de ferramentas.Fiz alguns cortes em vergalhões e o fio de corte é "bruto". Não percebi qualquer deformação no fio de corte até o momento. O sistema de dobra dos cabos é seguro e tem uma folga mínima.Produto testado e aprovado!

Funcional, a buen precio, acabados podrían ser mejores
La pieza cumple su función, es portable, sin embargo los acabados no son los mejores, tiene partes que se bailan mucho, pero ya desplegada y a la hora de cortar, no tiene fallas, pude cortar un candado mediano sin problemas. Para el precio está bastante bien, el único problema es el acabado pero en cuanto a funcionalidad todo bien.

Very nice tool but very expensive. This is a fold up bolt cutter but still, for a regular bolt cutter it's only $25.00 in the store.

Funcional y compacta, muy buena, recomendada
Excelentes a un precio accesible, la función de plegado es muy útil para ahorrar espacio, la pieza se siente de calidad y con buenos acabados, la usé para cortar un candado mediano sin problemas. Algunos compradores mencionan problemas con los acabados de los seguros, que no enganchan, pero no fue mi caso.
