From Peter Storm's range of mens sport and outdoor shoes comes the Lindale Shoes. The Lindale is a reliable pair of mens leather shoes with a full-grain leather upper and durable rubber outsole. These men's shoes have a slightly shallower lug-depth compared to the Eskdale which sacrifices grip for speed. All-in-all a great 3-4 season hiker for our unpredictable climate.

Very Comfortable!
I previuously had 2 consecutive years with Columbia Peakfreak Venture leather shoes. Unfortunately, this year I was unable to find the brown leather ones I had before, so took a chance on some material ones. They were comfy enough. But had a squeek when I walked..lol.. So, they had to go back and my confidence in the Columbia footwear shaken, because up until that point I would have repeatedly bought the same shoes agsin and again.I looked at lots of brown leather walking shoes, and opted for these Trepass ones.I must say , super comfy right out of the box. Spacious emough around the toes , and a nice width. Also great grip and quality laces.I wear these every day as my go to shoes. So far we're a couple of weeks in and still loving them.My top requirements for everyday shoes are...PRICE..ideally under £100. ✅️ COMFORT...super comfy ✅️QUALITY ..looking good so far ✅️GRIP.. super grippy on rocksWEAR QUALITY ..ongoing 😉Only dissapointment is that the trim has become unstuck at the front, but a quick trip to the shoe repairers for some glue is going to be acceptable. So far I would definately recommend them, even with the glue issue 😎

3 miles in
So these arrived yesterday to replace some nautical walking trainers that lasted 2 months!First walk for about 3 mikes today straight out of the box and no problems at all. The uppers feel like quality and the laces strong. No rubbing or any other issues and they feel lightweight but robust with good grip. I have a pair of Grisport which are great except on ice when they are dangerous and I am hoping g these do better there. The price was good for the quality at 49.00 after voucher and I am pleased with the appearance. Comfort and quality do far. I will update later as the miles roll on. They also kept the heavy early morning dew out.Update, 100 plus miles now and good as new, very comfortable to walk in and not showing any signs of wear on uppers or sole, totally dew proof also!7 months in still going strong worn every day7.5 months on just got a hole in the sole of right hand shoe. Have worn them for hundreds of miles of dog walks and every day use so still would buy again as very comfortable

Quite Nice
Shoes are very comfortable loved them, BUT 15 months later the seams are coming apart. The thread is disintegrating both shoes same place, Im hoping to have caught it in time and super glued it together. I have yet to walk on them, how long will it survive ? I have worn these almost every day since I got them and the soles appear brand new. shame about the stitching.

Good buy.
Bought these Nov 23 and have been really happy with them. Worn regularly both for hiking and as trainer replacement when its raining. Comfy all day, still waterproof even in wet grass, reasonably grippy and the sole has lasted with just the start of wear showing on the heel.Kept them mostly clean and reproofed them a couple of times. Not leaked yet.Get a bit sweaty if you wear them all day in warm weather, so invest in some oder eater.

Great shoe, terrible delivery
Updating my review to 3 stars from 1 to reflect the fact that whilst these are great shoes and this is my second pair, the delivery process has been shocking.Apparently, the order was given the incorrect delivery number, and so the communications regarding progress updates have been impossible, and I was led to believe that the delivery was not due to come yesterday.I then queried this with Blacks, who advised me of the incorrect tracker number and said that I would have received the delivery, yesterday.Unfortunately, this was not the case and the delivery came today, again with conflicting communications that made it impossible to track, effectively.

Onto my third pair
I bought my first pair of these in May 2021 and liked them so much I wore them literally all the time, both for day to day use and out on country walks at weekends. I mainly used them on tarmac, but with some off road stuff.Eventually, after about a year, the soles wore too thin and both shoes split on the stitching towards the front, but they still remained pretty much waterproof and supremely comfortable, so I bought another pair. You have to watch the price as they do go up and down quite considerably, but I've not paid above £60 for mine.I take size 9, with normal width feet, and have found the sizing perfect and no need at all to break them in.They're not as waterproof as wellies, but are far better than any of the Salomon or Mountain Warehouse "waterproof" shoes I used before them. Crossing a shallow stream or walking in damp grass, they've kept the water out.I started wearing my second pair (again, all the time) about June this year and this morning (30th October) got slightly damp toes on a walk in damp fields. However this is my fault as I've been wearing thin summer socks and stupidly let my big toenails grow too long, which I discovered has worn through the lining and the waterproof membrane.Had this not happened and they'd still leaked, they have a year's guarantee, so I'm sure that would have covered them.I'll keep them for dry use in summer, as otherwise they're still perfect, cut my toenails properly(!) and start on my third pair now.To sum up, for the money, they're the best sensibly priced waterproof walking shoes I've tried, and although as you can see from other reviews, the quality can vary, if you get a good pair, they're really comfortable and I'm sure you'll love them.
