Must have for MTB.
Pretty straight forward installation (few tutorials on YouTube if you get stuck). Works perfectly for my bike & definitely needed for mountain biking. It did get stuck down at one point but I think that was more to do with the cable catching slightly on a tie-wrap (a bit of slack when post is down).

Poor quality and bad design
The item has a design flaw. It has the release mechanism at the top tube under the saddle meaning that the cable has to go up and down with the saddle.The item stopped working after about a month of use.
