I have purchased these several times for cables that I have kept and sold. They don't bend down and become loose fitting like regular banana plugs. I have a several amps and speakers so I unplug and re plug a lot and these just don't lose there grip. The heat shrink wraps are nice and provide a professional looking end result. The Allen screws are much easier to work with and get a tighter clamp on the speaker wire than the flat head type screws found on most cheaper speaker plugs. I highly recommend these!

These are awesome banana plugs. I’ll never, ever buy another stupid normal banana plug that ALWAYS becomes loose having to constantly keep fixing the tension springs on them. The tension spring on this one doesn’t become loose at all. It has a really nice tight fit. They sound great, build quality is good, very happy with them. Happy enough to buy a second pack even though I don’t necessarily need them.

Screws strip out with even moderate tightening and half did not really tighten at all they, or the threaded sockets were do badly machined. The material is also very soft but does not appear to be copper underneath, just some cheap pot metal.

Pretty good quality banana plugs. Tight fit for a great connection. My only complaint is after receiving one set, then ordering a replacement, neither one came with the heat-shrink tubing like they were supposed to. Not a big deal or expense, but it deserves stars off because it was advertised to come with it, and was one reason I picked this set over others. Now I have to order some heat-shrink to finish off the assembly

Really like these so far. I do a lot of switching around of components and speakers and have had many a banana plug break or loosen on me. I've had these for a couple months and they fit tight, but not too tight and haven't loosened over time. It has a completely different retention system which is why I picked them and why they seem to have lasted longer without problems. They are simple and just plain work. Believe me if they can stand up to my constant plugging and unplugging, then they'll work for any average user with no problem.

Simple to set up and a solid connection with the set screws.I find it odd that many of these banana plugs are not quite so so straightforward as these are, lol... Not sure what that's about. But these are exactly what I was looking for.I'm no audio aficionado, and these may not be for those folks. But, I wanted simple and sturdy, and that's what these are.

Looking to make a pair of speaker cables using Duelund wires. The finished product is the best pair of speaker cables I've had in my system. For reference, the cables it replaced are ClearDay Shotgun. So, I chose this connector because I wanted banana connections, minimal mass, solderless, cheap and high copper content to match Duelund's copper wires.I could go less mass by using KTE (Eichmann) plugs for minimal mass but they require soldering. This Viborg is the next best thing that doesn't require soldering. And, there is a price differential between this plug and Viborg other plugs. So, after building my first pair with these plugs, I bought more for a second pair of speaker cables using Western Electric wires.Only knock is the copper content is probably low. I put a magnet next to the connector and it is attracted to the magnet. This tells me there is iron/steel beneath the silver plating. That being said, the plug is still a fantastic deal and performs way above its price point. Just wish something in the description reflects the purity of copper used.
