I love these because they do a magnificent job or protecting my pillows, are waterproof but do not have a plasticky feel. Just buy them, you will not be disappointed.

I visited the allergist, as I was having problems with recurrent sniffling, watery eyes, and an itchy scalp during the dry months of winter. His office assistant asked if I was sleeping with one of these on my pillow...I said "no" but jumped on the Amazon app on my smartphone and found these. What a difference this makes! The case feels silky and smooth, but very dense. It is woven tight enough to block all dust mites that are lurking in my pillow from irritating my scalp and causing me to be scratching my head all night. The stitching is very well done and it is very well put together.

I have very expensive medical grade pillow covers and mattress cover for my severe dust mite allergies. I took my expensive pillow to a camp and left it not realizing. These came quickly, washed up well and seem to be good after a repeat wash. My other covers did not require laundering but since I do my sheets weekly it’s not a big deal to wash these too. I’ll keep them on until the humidity rises come June then likely use the remaining medical grade cover for 8 weeks in summer. These allow for a fluffier fit with the same pillow.

I liked that the zipper was well inserted and operated smoothly. The material was cloth-like and not plasticky. The standard pillows fit fine. I unfortunately bought some 1 star rated "hotel quality" "down" pillows from Costco that are actually feather pillows. I know this because little feathers keep poking through them. The zippered pillow protectors could not protect me from the sharp feather prickles. However, that may be too much to ask.

these pillow covers are soft and wash nicely. have them on all beds in my home. recommend highly 👍

I had another brand of dust mite cover on my pillows for approximately 2 years. I put these covers on over top, and zipped them up. The difference was stunning. Waking up the next day without all the usual stuffiness and drainage due to allergies (dust mites, or whatever material is in the pillows). Pretty amazing, actually. If you're allergic to dust mites, this is a must. Even a double layer if you have to.Be careful that the zipper doesn't get stuck on the cloth, as it happened to me twice, and can be hard to undo..
