You can take all of my textbooks but please leave me this one
I teach product design and development at a major research university and I swear by this book. I often tell my students, "you can take every book from my office but leave me with this one." While it may not be the best or easiest introduction for younger students, e.g., first-year college students, it an excellent reference text that I have been using for nearly ten years. Kudos to Drs. Eppinger and Ulrich for their excellent work.

amazing coverage of real cases in product development
I red this for one of the courses in my Masters and I love it. If you are studying product development or work in the field you will enjoy it. The book covers a great deal of real cases in product development which further clarifies the concepts.

Amazing book. I was on the MIT Web site looking up a syllabus for a product development course and found this book. It has been invaluable in learning about the entire process.

Book arrived with pages "crinkled" and many pages have missing print
I don't know if this is a significant problem with book binding in general or if this is a systemic issue. This is the third book I have purchased from Amazon which has significant issues. Some of the pages look lke the were not properly flattened when the book was bound so there were "crimped and crinkled" and some pages have places where the print is missing (not the full page but areas where the ink was not deposited onto the paper properly).

Good Book!
This is a book I bought for a graduate level engineering program I am in. Reads easy. Great content. Goes well with the Ries Lean Start-up stuff for entrepreneurs.

Good book. It could use more information on software ...
Good book. It could use more information on software products and services. It is very focused on physical products. I'd love to find a similar book with a software/service background.

Not worth the price
It is absolutely ridiculous that a book costs the same as a new Kindle. The hardcopy book is over $200.00! What a rip off. This gouging of students has got to stop; it is seriously not even that good of book - there wasn't much in here that people don't know from reading Wikipedia or watching a couple of episodes of How it's made on Discovery Channel or Science channel.$200? The same price as the iPhone 5?Ridiculous.

Great book!
The book is comprehensive and easy to understand, especially for my students in Indonesia. The price is very reasonable with its quality content. The shipment was also great. Thank you Amazon and DHL.
