Great buy
After reading the reviews I ordered the Stanley SL18910P-3 Wet/Dry Vac and I am so happy I did. The suction is fantastic, the capacity is perfect and it is very well manufactured not flimsy at all. Easy to handle and carry. We needed this to clean the port in our air conditioner as shown by a past buyer. Perfect, easy to clean when used as a vacuum too.I actually would have paid more after using it an seeing the quality.Shipped in original box and then in the Amazon box for protection. Shipped fast via Prime.

Great shop vac (especially for the price)
Top feature is great suction! It is also lightweight and easy to maneuver. The cord is awful short but we solved that by adding a short extension cord. The shell is plastic but sturdy. We’ve had it for three years and use it in the home and garage. It works well and has a great price. Highly recommend and will buy again when the need arises.

Perfect for use around the house
I bought this a couple years ago so I didn't have to haul my 30 gallon shop vac around the house for small clean up jobs. This is perfect for that purpose. Nice and light so it's easy to carry around the house to wherever it is needed, or outside to clean the car. It's a reliable vacuum and it has always turned on when I needed it.A few minor complaints, but likely nothing that would keep me from ordering another one. First, the power cord is too short...they should have made it a 10 or 12 ft cord. Second, there is not really a great way to store the house. The best way I have found is to keep it plugged in to the vacuum port, and plug the other end of the hose into the "blower" port once everything is off. Related is the storage for the attachments. It kinda works, but could be better.

WORKS
I just tried this for the first time. Very pleased. I wanted this to use on my cars, and was concerned it wasn’t powerful enough. It did a fine job. The 2 problems are the short cord and hose. I have ordered a longer hose and the electrical cord is easy to overcome. I read some other reviews previous to buying, and one said it was quiet. Don’t believe it. No shop vac is quiet!! This is worth the money and convenience.

Obsessed!
I rarely take the time to write reviews, like most people, but I am in love with this little shop vac. I read all the reviews for both the larger shop vacs as well as the smaller ones, like this one, and I’m so glad that I picked this Stanley. I wanted a unit to vacuum up cat litter, dry cat food, and potting soil, also caused by the naughty cat who digs in my plants when I’m not looking, and this unit is powerful enough to accomplish all of these and more. This little guy is the perfect size to carry up and down the stairs, and of course, still has a much larger capacity than a little handheld vac, yet is not monstrous like the one I keep in the garage that I’m too lazy to haul up and down the stairs. I don’t know who needs this many vacuums for one person, but I’m thinking about buying another so I can have one on both floors because I use it almost daily. Everyone needs a little vac for the dirtier tasks that you may not want to use your the vacuum that you vacuum your carpets with. I don’t know why, but it just seems like a more sanitary option to keep separate vacuums.Make sure to check for all of your attachments, however, because the first box I received was missing the most important attachment for me. Shipping has been a bit of a problem, with multiple delays, but that is not the vacs fault; this little unit is worth the wait especially at this price point! Most of my handheld vacs were more expensive than this much larger unit.Buy it; you can’t go wrong with this great little appliance!

Great Suction
Great power in such a compact little shop vac. Has several attachments works really well for cleaning your vehicle. One suggestion, get an extension cord, the cord attached it short.

Power is incredible...light weight...great value.
I cleaned about 10 years worth of sawdust and dust out of my garage on my first day of owning this shop vac. It finished as strong as it started and was easy to clean. Great unit at an unbelievable price.

EDIT: It's not the best vacuum but I recommend the other models, Alton Industry was great to me
EDIT: I wasn't a fan of this vacuum but Customer Service at Alton Industries really stepped up and made things right for me. It's actually not made by Stanley but instead by ALTON Industries. Stanley will not accept any customer service with this vacuum or other Stanley vacuums and they direct you instead to call Alton since they made it. Alton contact info is easy to find online.I didn't have the best luck with this STANLEY SL18910P-3 Wet/Dry, 3 Gallon, 3 Horsepower vacuum, the stainless one in tis size is much better but I now have the 2.5 GALLON 3 MAX HP PORTABLE VACUUM Model: SL18134P that like, I also like the fact that the hose screws onto the tub, it wont pop out and it has a nice strong suction and good form factor/foot print. EDIT: Looks like this one is no longer available and instead would recommend this stainless tub 3 GAL Stanley with same size.https://www.amazon.com/Stanley-Vacuum-Gallon-Horsepower-Stainless/dp/B00XNMMO2E/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=SL18136&qid=1610733526&sr=8-1Now reading earlier reviews, I see others have dealt with burned out motors and its not just me. Alton Ind. was great but not Stanley, and shame on Stanley for not taking on the responsibility for something that has their name on it.My experience with this vacuum"I bought this vacuum just under 5 months ago and while using it normally on a counter top last night, the motor all of sudden started to slow down, as I looked down it then started sparking, making weird noises and then stopped; it all happened before I could reach for the on/off switch. Scratching my head I opened up the vacuum, it wasn't full, only about 1/4 full, about 10 minutes later I started it up again on a different outlet to test and all it did was popping sounds and could see sparks and then stopped on it own. It has not been used much and not even six months. The motor is dead and now my new Stanley vacuum cleaner is worthless. My Shop-Vac from Lowes around the same size has lasted me 8 years and that one gets more abuse and still going strong.Old Review:I quickly needed a small wet vac and decided to give this one a try but was unsure how good the performance would be with such a low price. I was surprisingly satisfied with the suctioning and it matched my 3hp/6gallon ShopVac in suction power. One thing that I do not about this Stanley vacuum is the hose, it's too short and very stiff, I'm constantly struggling with it and gets in the way all the time because it will never stay where you want it to, it flops out and catches on things which is annoying. Also being so short, you have to pick it up and hold the vacuum a lot so you can reach things, too short to be on the floor and vacuum your whole desk. I would gladly replace the hose if I could.
